THE BEST VENUETHE BEST VENUE
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we booked Town Head, everything was so easy and the team were absolutely incredible. Even though the weather wasn’t quite on our side, it was still such a lovely and special day, and Town Head provided the most beautiful setting for our intimate wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous the venue was. A special mention has to go to Bethany, who went above and beyond for us on the day. She made sure every little detail was taken care of, kept everything running perfectly, calmed my nerves and, most importantly, made sure I actually ate! 😂 She genuinely made us feel so looked after throughout the entire day. The catering team were also incredible. The food was absolutely lovely, and the service was fantastic. You could really see how well everyone works together as a team — everything felt so seamless and organised, whilst still feeling warm and personal. It was clear that everyone genuinely cared about making our day as special as possible. Every member of the Town Head team was so kind, helpful and attentive, and you can really tell how much they love what they do. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding day so special. Thank you so much to the whole Town Head team, especially Bethany. We got married at Town Head Estate this August, and calling it a "dream venue" is an understatement as it was pure magic! We actually took a leap of faith and booked it without seeing it and it somehow exceeded every expectation. The estate, cottages, and grounds are so stunning!! Having a pre-wedding BBQ by the lake set the most amazing tone for the weekend, and getting ready in the beauty room (the best getting ready room!) was such a luxury. Every single spot is picture-perfect, from tying the knot on the lake terrace to photos in the rose garden and celebrating in the barn. A massive thank you to our coordinator, Beth as she was an absolute star! From answering a million questions beforehand to being a calm, reassuring friend on the day, she made everything feel completely effortless. The whole staff were brilliant, and our guests have said how incredible the venue was. It will always remain a special place to us. Bethany and the Team and Town Head. We just wanted to send a proper thank you to you and the whole team at Town Head for everything you did for us over the wedding. We honestly don’t think we fully appreciated at the time just how much you were doing behind the scenes, because you somehow made it all look effortless. Looking back now, it’s actually slightly crazy how much you all did for us. We genuinely would have been incredibly happy with half the amount of effort, care and work you put into the weekend. To say you went above and beyond almost feels like an understatement. So many of our guests said the same thing. People were genuinely blown away by you all. We had comments from people saying their jaws had hit the floor at how incredible the team were, how smoothly everything ran, and how much care seemed to go into every single part of the weekend. The professionalism was absolutely flawless, but professionalism only takes you so far. What meant the most to us was how human you all were. Bethany, especially, it never felt like you were simply doing a job or managing another wedding. You got to know us, understood what mattered to us, and it genuinely felt like you became emotionally invested in the day alongside us. That must take so much out of you. To give that level of care, attention and emotional energy to couples again and again must be incredibly draining, and we really want you to know that it did not go unnoticed. We felt it throughout the whole weekend. There were so many moments where things could have become stressful, timings changed, plans moved around, people needed something, or we were simply caught up in the emotion and chaos of it all, and somehow you were always there. Sometimes with an answer, sometimes with reassurance, and sometimes just quietly sorting something before we even realised it needed sorting. You took so much weight off our shoulders. People always say that your wedding day goes by in a blur, and that you have to remember to consciously steal a moment away from everything just to stop, breathe and take it all in. The amazing thing for us is that we never really had to do that. Because of you and the team, we were able to feel present and relaxed throughout the whole day. We could actually enjoy the people around us, take in the atmosphere, notice the little moments, and experience the day as it was happening without constantly thinking about timings, logistics, what was next or whether something was going wrong. We didn’t need to step away from our own wedding to appreciate it, because you gave us the space to actually live in it. That is something we will always be incredibly grateful for. Despite doing an unbelievable amount, you never made yourselves the centre of anything. You let the weekend still feel like ours. That balance is probably one of the hardest things to achieve and you absolutely nailed it. We felt looked after. Our families felt looked after. Our guests felt looked after. More than anything, it felt like you actually cared whether we were having the day we had dreamed about. That means more to us than we can really put into an email. For months we had imagined what this weekend might feel like, and somehow the reality was even more special. Town Head will always be tied to some of the happiest memories of our lives, and a huge part of that is because of the people who made it happen. So thank you. Properly. We honestly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We booked a pre-wedding BBQ at the Boathouse and hired the yacht the day before our wedding. Even though the weather was not on our side later in the day, the team quickly moved everything into the marquee, and it was still fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always happy to sort anything we needed. A special thank you to Beth Dawson for being such an amazing wedding coordinator, you made the whole experience so stress-free and memorable! Our wedding day was absolutely amazing. The grounds were stunning with countless beautiful photo opportunities, and multiple gorgeous locations to hold your ceremony. It really is a venue that has something for everyone. All of our guests had the best time, and so many told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. They were truly impressed with the venue, the beautiful surroundings, and how seamless everything was organised. The food and signature cocktails were also exceptional and received so many compliments throughout the day. Staying in the cottages was such a lovely experience, especially relaxing in the hot tubs, and the bridal suite was absolutely beautiful. It made our wedding feel even more special. The pure magic I felt at town head estate this weekend is nothing that I could actually put into words. From the amazing scenery, stunning accommodation to the outstanding staff. There was absolutely nothing they didn’t sort for us, from scuba diving into lake windermere to find a phone a friend had dropped off the boat (that still worked) to basically controlling the weather somehow 😂 This is honestly by far my most favourite place on earth. Getting to spend time with our family & friends for the weekend was something out of a fairy tale. All our guests have commented on what an amazing place it is and that it was one of the best weddings they had been to. I will be forever grateful to David, Cheryl, Bethany and all at town head estate for making our wedding the best it could have possibly been. Where to begin?! Simply the best place I ever could have chosen to get married at. There really will never be enough words for me to share simply how amazing this place is. From the minute we arrived, we knew it was the place for us. It is SO beautiful, peaceful and picturesque. The team are simply incredible. Nothing is ever a too much, they remained so calm and helpful throughout the entire process and they really let you tailor the venue around what you want to do for your wedding. Beth my wedding co-ordinator was the actual best, I couldn't have asked for anyone better to be with us on the big day and the day went absolutely seamlessly. We called the team our wedding fairy godmothers because whatever you wished for or needed, they made happen. The grounds and accommodation are spectacular, so many of our guests were blown away by how beautiful it was. We had the best weekend swimming and paddleboarding with a BBQ by the lake the night before, and then the most amazing outdoor ceremony by the lake the next day. The recommended suppliers they suggested were all amazing, they have such a great reputation with suppliers in the Lakes and people love working with them. The suppliers I used who hadn't worked with them all commented on what a great team they are, I could trust them to just handle everything. If you are looking for the most peaceful, calm and spectacular venue with the best team I would not hesitate to book Town Head. The views, the staff and a weekend that makes you feel in the most beautiful bubble. Nothing is any trouble for the staff and they really do go above and beyond, extremely open and understanding and they all give 110% to providing an outstanding experience. A very big special thank you to Beth our wedding coordinator who was absolutely brilliant, you made our wedding unforgettable and kept us all calm and under control, everything was explained perfectly and you guided us beautifully through our sensational day!
