We have four ceremony spaces available; our rustic barn and secret garden can hold up to 130 guests whilst our museum and lawn can hold up to 200. There is also our local church, St Andrew's, which is just a confetti throw away. With an exclusive use option your wedding will have all the peace and privacy you could wish for. Following your ceremony, you and your guests can awaken your inner child, riding on our vintage carousel and gondola whilst also enjoying drinks, canapes and taking some once in a lifetime photographs. You can then dance the night away on our state of the art dance floor whilst listening to a live band or DJ of your choice. Worried about where you will stay? Our Holly Lodge accommodation is a 3-minute walk from our main site. Here 14 members of your wedding party can stay, relax, rent bikes and enjoy a champagne breakfast on the morning of your wedding. For the rest of your guests, we are within 15 minutes of Blakeney and Wells-next-the-Sea, stunning coastal towns with lots of hotel space. Our team here at the Garden Pavilion will be on hand to support you in not only the lead up to the wedding, but the running of your day as well. We understand that often it’s the little things that make your wedding so unique to you. Whether it's afternoon tea for all your guests or taking a ride on Thursford's famous carousels and gondola, we can support you sourcing quality caterers, florists and even fireworks.

Your venue hire includes use of Thursford Garden Pavilion, with one of four beautiful ceremony spaces and only one wedding hosted per day. You'll have the support of a dedicated wedding manager, who can also act as your master of ceremonies, along with access to our private wedding garden for photographs.
Included are tables, chairs, glassware, décor features such as blossom trees and arches, a licensed bar, professional catering kitchen, dance floor, lighting and sound system, wireless microphones, garden furniture, outdoor speakers, ample parking, and permanent toilet facilities—everything you need for a seamless and memorable celebration.

- AAdam and Becky23/06/2026Our most perfect wedding dayOur most perfect wedding dayWe felt very honoured to have been able to get married in the beautiful barn, and have access to the fairground rides & museum which was a huge hit with our guests, but also nice to have been able to put our own touch on it when we came to the reception decorating the room but with all the hard work eliminated with the dance floor, tables & chairs and bar already in place! We also loved how we were given optional extras to add to our day such as the LOVE dance floor letters. We felt very honoured to have been able to get married in the beautiful barn, and have access to the fairground rides & museum which was a huge hit with our guests, but also nice to have been able to put our own touch on it when we came to the reception decorating the room but with all the hard work eliminated with the dance floor, tables & chairs and bar already in place! We also loved how we were given optional extras to add to our day such as the LOVE dance floor letters.

We’ve had so many comments from guests saying “it was the best wedding they had ever been too”. I can truly say I felt like a beautiful princess in a magical kingdom marrying her Prince Charming. We can’t praise and thank Thursford Garden Pavilion and the team enough for our unique wedding. We both had the most magical day, with every guest saying how amazing and pretty Thursford was, everyone loved riding on the Gondola and the Gallopers which made the most unique wedding a dream come true! We left and didn’t think twice, we were hooked!The whole experience with Melissa and Emma was so smooth, nothing was too much and they were genuinely excited by our ideas no matter how bonkers they sounded. Inflatable helter skelter, no problem, filling the room with antique furniture and “knick knacks”, sounds great, changing up the wine offering to have Rose Lemonade, consider it done. We felt completely safe and reassured that we did not need to worry about anything, suppliers, timings, logistics all taken care of. The whole experience with Melissa and Emma was so smooth, nothing was too much and they were genuinely excited by our ideas no matter how bonkers they sounded. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It has been an honour to be part of some many weddings here at Thursford and there is no way to pick just one favourite, but we will share with you the best part of every wedding: seeing the joyful faces of the guests and couples as they relax after their ceremony, riding on our vintage Carousel and Gondola never gets old.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book suppliers earlier than you think you need to. Firstly, you don't want to find the perfect photographer and then find they are already booked. Secondly, the less you need to think about in the months leading up to your big day the better.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Unfortunately, couples can't always have all their loved ones with them on their wedding day. Memory tables and memory seats mean you can still share your milestone with all the people who have shaped your lives.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our dance floor is hidden from your guests during the wedding breakfast. When you are ready to take your first dance, we take you around, behind the curtain and position you under the sparkling disco lights. As the music begins to play, we will pull back the curtain: Thursford Stlye. This creates two amazing photo opportunities: first, the two of you sharing your first dance together and second, the shock and excitement on your guests' faces as they see the hidden gem of our Garden Pavilion.
What's your favourite room or space at the venue
Our magical museum with our vintage Carousel and Gondola is our favourite space. There is something so unique about it that our couples love.
What's one hidden gem or secret feature of the venue that couples love discovering?
Our sound ceiling above our dancefloor always wow's our couples. The ability to have a conversation at the tables when under the dancefloor is a full party is always a winner!
What's your favourite cocktail or drink served at weddings here?
Our Black Shuck Cheeky Chuckles cocktail is a team favourite!

Our couples and our guests.
Which season do you think is most magical at your venue and why?
We think each season has its own way of brining magic to our venue! Particularly the height of the summer when our couples can utilise our gorgeous outdoor spaces.
