Thornbridge Estate

We cannot recommend Thornbridge Hall highly enough as a wedding venue. It is truly a stunning venue, but what makes it even more special is how professional and conscientious all staff are - invisible yet attentive. The food was incredible, as was their willingness to help make the day personal - we cannot fault the service they have offered us.

The team at Thornbridge made our whole experience easy and stress free. We had the exact ceremony and reception we wanted. No request was too big or too small. We cannot thank Mike, Victoria and the team enough. I would fully recommend the venue to anyone who wants a perfect wedding.

Thank you so much for looking after us so well at my sister's wedding. The day ran really smoothly and the work you all did to look after us to make sure everything worked well, it made the day very enjoyable. We all had so much fun, it's a day we will look back on fondly and have amazing memories of. Also, we have to say congratulations to the chef as I don't like lamb but loved the Hoggett!!! Helen and my parents are VERY impressed and its a hard job to do!

To the super team at Thornbridge. A massive THANK YOU!! for making our special day so amazing and magical. The attention to detail and service was exceptional and everything ran so well. You are a very talented team and we are so grateful. A special thanks to Micheal for being with us every step of the way for the last 4 years! You were always there for us and nothing was too much trouble - the answer was always yes :) with a smile. We felt in very safe hands with you, you are a huge asset to the team. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more and we couldn't have done it without you.

I HAVE CREATED A SLIDESHOW OF IMAGES OF SOME OF THE AMAZING WEDDINGS I HAVE CAPTURED AT THORNBRIDGE HALL IN THE PAST FEW YEARS. I WON’T DENY THAT IT IS, WITHOUT QUESTION MY FAVOURITE WEDDING VENUE TO DATE THAT I HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE TO WORK AT. THERE IS SOMETHING INCREDIBLY SPECIAL ABOUT THORNBRIDGE HALL. NOT ONLY IS IT BREATHTAKING, FULL OF CHARACTER AND AMBIENCE, BUT IT ALSO WORKS PERFECTLY AT ANY TIME OF THE YEAR AND IN ANY WEATHER CONDITIONS. I HAVE CAPTURED A WEDDING DURING A NAMED STORM AND ON ONE OF THE HOTTEST DAYS OF THE YEAR, BUT IT WASN’T AN ISSUE FOR THIS MOST MAJESTIC OF LOCATIONS. IT HOLDS SOME EXQUISITE INTERIORS AND THE GROUNDS ARE WITHOUT QUESTION SOME OF THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY. THERE ARE SO MANY BEAUTIFUL LOCATIONS THAT MAKE THE PERFECT BACKDROP FOR ANY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY INCLUDING THE ITALIAN GARDEN, SCENTED TERRACE, WATER GARDEN, KOI POND AND KITCHEN GARDEN. IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE THE HALL WAS BRIEFLY USED AS A TEACHER TRAINING COLLEGE BY SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL, BEFORE IT WAS PURCHASED AND IS NOW PRIVATELY OWNED AND USED AS A FAMILY HOME AND EVENT CENTRE. THE HALL IS ALSO THE HOME OF THE AWARD-WINNING THORNBRIDGE BREWERY AND IN 2017 IT BECAME A RHS PARTNER GARDEN DURING CERTAIN TIMES OF THE YEAR THE BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS ARE OPENED TO THE PUBLIC. RATHER THAN TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF AND I AM SURE YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THE VENUE JUST AS I HAVE.

We really don’t know where to start in writing this email but I guess we need to start with the world's biggest thank you! From the day you first took us around Thornbridge you were just incredible and not only did we know we’d be in safe hands, but you were also the only wedding coordinator that ran us through the day so we could actually picture ourselves getting married here. From start to finish you made the whole process easy and pain free and it really showed when it came to the running of the day. We’ve been inundated with messages and comments from our guests saying how beautiful the venue was, that the food was out of this world (and hot!!) and that the staff were on it from the minute they arrived - serving drinks, bringing food out in a timely manner and being so lovely and helpful. All of the above myself & Reece 1000% agree with. We could not have asked for more from Thornbridge as a venue and you as the person who organised and ran the day. It was perfect and more than we ever could imagine it would be. Please will you pass on our thanks to Victoria, Simon and the rest of your team who I know also worked tirelessly to bring all of this together. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, and that will never be enough to express how grateful we are for everything. You really are outstanding
