The Vineyard far exceeded our expectations for our civil ceremony thanx to the exceptional attention to detail by Charlotte in the events department. Flowers by in house designer set the scene and F& B and all recommend suppliers with Katie cakesmith proved prior preparation with the expertise of team made for a memorable day 🥂🎊🎉

We felt so lucky to have the warm and efficient team at the Vineyard take care of our wedding day. We had a very small wedding party but the team treated the whole affair as though it was for a much bigger group, and they were wonderfully attentive beforehand and on the day. We felt very welcomed, and the friendliness and flexibility of the team was truly fabulous.

The most amazing venue with superb service
I cannot thank the Vineyard enough for the most wonderful of weddings. We visited several 4 and 5 star venues to hold our intimate personal wedding.
First impressions are important and sometimes the smallest of things make all the difference. To start the Vineyard was the only venue to offer us complementary tea or coffee during our initial visit. This told us immediately that our interest was important to them and a clear sign of the excellent service to come.... Another thing that impressed us, for a 5 star hotel, it didn't feel pretentious as some do, it was just relaxed elegance and gave the impression of a venue where our guests whom are all from different backgrounds would feel relaxed and at ease. The Vineyard is stunning, due to Covid it was really important to us that people felt safe. Apart from the atmosphere and decor both of which were amazing we loved the fact we had our own bar area with separate bathroom facilities to utilise adjoining the main function room that doubled up for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. From the bar area there are also double doors that lead out to our own private patio space so it just flows so wonderfully well with our own space away from other hotel guests, something most of the venues could not match. The main function room is beautiful. The inside space is especially impressive, the walkway from the main reception over a glass suspended floor above the cellar with its lighting is outstanding and creates such an impressive welcome to your guest's, it is beyond a wow factor. The huge painting on the back wall in of the bar adds to the impressive setting, I can honestly say the inside space is street's ahead of the other venues we viewed and what with our weather being so unreliable the inside space was far more a priority for us. Service.... well what can I say, our wedding was postponed because of lock-down but this was no trouble for the hotel, they were so so accommodating. Because at the point of our marriage we had not seen many of our family and friends for considerable time due to Covid, because we had family travelling from overseas it was so vitally important that this would be everyone's day. I am both very fussy with a keen attention to detail and also super organised, nothing was too much trouble for the Vineyard. Nicole the wedding and events manager is an absolute diamond, nothing was too much trouble and every request was accommodated. Both Nicole and her team were extremely responsive and so keen to deliver our dream wedding and deliver our requirements whilst assisting with suggestions. The attention to detail and ensuring that at no point throughout did we ever feel stressed. Working with other suppliers like our florists and pianist and dealing with the logistics. Working with the head chef and sommelier to create a perfect meal with the most amazing wine's. We had such an amazing relaxed wedding and all our guests commented on how incredible the day was. People commenting on how they had never been to a wedding like this, how this was the best food they had been served at any wedding and how incredible the venue and service was. We wanted a memorable intimate personal wedding that gave to everyone especially with the hardships of Covid and with the Vineyards efforts we succeeded. We cannot thank Nicole, her team and the Vineyard enough for working hard to create the most memorable amazing day, the best day of our lives. Thank you so very much.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
We love a good spreadsheet to keep track of everything. It is a great tool to keep everything organised and keep track of things like; your budget, guests list, timings on the day etc. We also have a wedding spreadsheet we can share with you.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our weddings organised a confetti bag for each guest on their ceremony seat which had the schedule of the day on. This gave a real personal touch and meant they had an amazing confetti shot.
Our iconic wine vault provides the perfect setting for unique and memorable photos.
