The Tin Shed, Knockraich Farm

We couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful venue to get married in, or a more wonderful person to take care of our wedding day. From our very first meeting, Helena listened to us and helped us to plan our day, and on the wedding day itself, she was there to help us throughout the event. We felt very calm because we knew we were in expert hands! We were able to decorate the Bothy and the Tin Shed in the way we wished (it is a venue which can be personalised very well). All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue and the surrounding hills and countryside were. They were able to chat in the lovely gardens, where Helena set up a fire pit and games. In the evening, the conservatory provided a warm, cosy and quiet place to sit for those who preferred not to join in the dancing in the Tin Shed. Jamie and I stayed in the accommodation on site, which was beautifully decorated and very convenient for us on the morning of the wedding. We were also able to gather our families the following day for breakfast in the conservatory, arranged by Helena. Knockraich Farm is simply the perfect venue if you love nature and the beautiful Scottish countryside (there were baby swallows peeping out of their nest at the entrance to the Tin Shed!), and if you would like a wedding that you can personalise, with Helena’s advice and support. It will always be very special to us, and one of our favourite places in the world! Thank you, Helena and all your family, for making our day so wonderful!

We got married at the Tin Shed in August 2023 and we could not have wished for a more perfect wedding weekend. The venue is in the most beautiful setting, surrounded by stunning scenery at the fabulous Knockraich Farm. Helena was so helpful and helped us put everything together for our perfect day. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the onsite accommodation is lovely. We would highly recommend this venue and if we were to do it all again we’d definitely choose to do it at The Tin Shed!

Where to even start! Having worked a couple of weddings at The Tin Shed already, I knew this was the venue for us! Not only is the venue simply stunning, Helena and the team are wonderful and just make the day even better! I never had a doubt or worry as Helena was already on it! Given we opted for the outdoor ceremony and Scottish weather wasn’t being too kind to us, Helena and the team were so quick and on it to keep the seats dry and capture a dry spell for the ceremony. We could dress the venue as we pleased, not that we really felt we needed to do much! Such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and every guest commented on the gorgeous scenery around them!

My husband and I got married at The Tin Shed at Knockraich and it was genuinely the best day of our lives. Helena and the team were so attentive and looked after us from the day before the wedding until we left the day after. Nothing was too much trouble and when our crockery was late to show up, Helena made sure it was out in time for our reception. In addition to this, we had misplaced our drinks tokens and without discussion Helena and the team had sorted an alternative. We have such amazing memories of The Tin Shed and would recommend it to any couple looking for a quieter venue that can cater for a personalised day! We cannot recommend the Tin Shed enough as a wedding venue. We have the most beautiful memories of our special day here and love that we are able to come back to visit for lunch or stay at one of the apartments.

Our wedding at Knockraich Farm was an amazing experience, thanks to the stunning venue and the fantastic team. The venue itself is a bride and groom's dream. Set in a breathtaking location, its versatility allows for complete personalisation, ensuring your day is uniquely yours. The layout, featuring the ceremony in the Piggery, reception drinks in the garden, and evening celebrations in the rustic barn, created a perfect flow to our day. Helena, our primary contact at Knockraich Farm, was an absolute gem - her flexibility and organisation made the entire process a breeze. The team working on the day of our wedding were also fantastic. They seamlessly executed everything we had requested which meant we could fully enjoy the day. We cannot recommend Knockraich Farm enough for anyone looking for a wedding venue that offers beauty, versatility, and a team dedicated to making your day as special as ours was.
