Nestled in the breathtaking Yorkshire Dales, the tranquil and beautiful village of Timble provides the perfect setting for your relaxed and intimate wedding. We know that every wedding is unique – after sharing your desires with our experienced and accommodating team, you’re free to enjoy the moments that matter as we bring your vision to life on the big day.
Just a few yards down the road stands the old chapel, an ideal venue for a close-knit ceremony. Seating up to 40 guests, those who mean the most will be close by as you tie the knot. Compact and understated, its rustic elegance befits the rural beauty of the surroundings. Simple yet sophisticated, it’s a great ‘blank canvas’ should you wish to add your own decorative flourishes.
The picturesque village offers plenty of gorgeous spots to capture some special moments on camera. However, if you’re looking for a more spectacular backdrop, head a little way down the road where the stunning valleys of Nidderdale stretch out below you.
Back at the Inn, you and your guests will receive your hand-picked drinks and your selection of mouth-watering canapes. Take these on the lawn and decking, or in the cosy lounge with its log-burning stove – whatever the season, we’ll ensure you enjoy your wedding in style and comfort. Savour your bespoke wedding breakfast in our intimate restaurant – two connected rooms, each seating 20-25 people. The original masonry, oak beams and traditional decor create an elegantly relaxed environment in which to celebrate with your loved ones. The superbly stocked bar caters for all tastes, with excellent locally brewed beers, a dazzling array of gins and spirits and an exquisite wine list. As evening sets in, make memories and toast the future, and perhaps even dance a little. No need to worry about waiting for carriages when the celebrations draw to a close – your rooms are right next door.

Beautiful venue
We chose The Timble Inn for our wedding venue because of its beautiful setting and reputation for great food, and are so glad we did! It was so much more than we expected and that is thanks to the amazing team. They made us feel so welcome, the day was personal and relaxed, and the planning was simple, stress-free and felt completely tailored to us.
We hired the whole venue for our group of 18 which gave us complete freedom and made sure all our guests could stay overnight with us. We had our ceremony in the chapel which was a beautiful intimate setting just a short walk from the inn, followed by drinks and canapés on the front lawn, dinner in the main restaurant area and music and drinks after in the bar and cottage snug.
The menu was designed for us and everything was absolutely delicious. All our guests said how good their meal was, in fact no one could move after eating too much!
A huge thank you to the whole team for making our day so special. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to host a smaller wedding, and we will definitely be heading back for dinner soon!

Lovely Country Inn
We wanted a few days away in the Yorkshire Dales area as it was somewhere we didn't know too much about. The scenery is stunning and the small market towns are full of interesting shops to visit. The Timble Inn was perfectly situated to visit many places of interest. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the room was lovely and the food was exceptional. Wonderful countryside stay and dining
This is an excellent place to stay and to eat. The quality of the accommodation was first rate and the location of the pub is a wonderful relaxing venue in the countryside. The food was really top notch, and reat care was taken to provide for vegans, vegetarian diets, allergies and so on. The service was exemplary, led by Enzo, whose presence provided a certainty that everything ran smoothly.

This is well worth a journey into a beautiful part
Fabulous food, attentive waiting staff and a lovely atmosphere in a picture postcard setting. The cod steak was cooked to perfection and my friend said the scallops were the best he had ever tasted.

Brilliant
Stayed here for one night in the Nidderdale Suite. Have stayed before but this is the first time my wife has accompanied me. The quality of the rooms, meals and particularly the attention paid to service by the staff is outstanding. We used to live in the area but now rarely return. We will now have to find an excuse to visit more regularly. It is a high quality experience at what I feel, is a very reasonable price. Can't wait to return.

It's never too early to plan. The last thing you want is stress in the final couple of weeks before the big day. Try your best to get everything planned comfortably in advance so you can relax a little more as the date approaches.

It's old school but personal vows. Nothing is more intimate than sharing your own thoughts and feelings about your loved one.

White crab meat tartlet. The key is to have the freshest crab, which we get with our daily deliveries.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A bacon or sausage sandwich is ideal after a long day of celebrating (and vegan versions are available as well!).

The intimacy. Both the Inn and the Chapel create a cosy close feel that is ideal for smaller weddings with your nearest and dearest.
