The Three Hills is a beautifully restored and multi-award winning 17th-century coaching inn located in the heart of the village of Bartlow, only 20 minutes from Cambridge and 30 minutes from Stansted Airport. With highly experienced staff and an award-winning kitchen, stunning landscaped gardens and patios, a bridal suite, a family flat and five other luxury ensuite guest rooms, we have the perfect location for your special day.
With only a limited number of weddings a year, every wedding is treated as the unique and special event that it is. From the minute you choose The Three Hills to host your event, you can relax, secure in the knowledge that every detail is taken care of for you. Your wedding breakfast will be one of the highlights of the day, so it has to be memorable. The Three Hills holds two AA Rosettes and a Michelin Plate for Good Cooking, and in 2021, it was voted highest newcomer in the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs.

Prices range from 6,000 for a cocktail package in low season to £15,000 for a Crémant package in high season on a Saturday. Each package varies according to price range. We do also offer a champagne package upon request POA. Any additional guests above 50 will be charged on a price per head basis.

Describe the best wedding that happened at The Three Hills?
This is impossible to choose. Each wedding has had its own extraordinary moments. However, we loved one winter wedding which featured the most energetic Scottish dancing we have seen. Another is a Portuguese wedding where the band had the guests dancing in their seats during the Wedding Breakfast. As the entire space, including our massive garden is exclusively yours, you can bring in whatever you wish for to help make your day special and as personalised to you as possible - whether that is mini golf, circus performers, dancers, bouncy castle, acapella singers, a photo booth, the obvious DJ or live band - the choice is yours.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Ask us for help. We have had lots of experience with helping couples plan for weddings - seen lots of wonderful ideas and probably have the answer for you.

Charming, magical, romantic, cozy, authentic.
Where’s the best photo spot at The Three Hills?
There are many to choose from - For example, when our hydrangea Annabelles are in flower, it is the most romantic beautiful spot. We have another spot from our guests balcony overlooking the gardens, our rose covered arbour on the upper terrace is very romantic. As a 17th century coaching inn we have both traditional and contemporary spaces - there is a wealth of beautiful spot to choose from.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at The Three Hills?
Yes but we will not say who!
What’s your favourite canapé?
All our canapés are delicious but if we had to choose one that stands out for all couples is the parmesan and truffle arancini balls. Although the whipped goat's cheese with candied walnut in a beetroot tartlet is another strong contender!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Mini fish and chips in a cone. We also have our own outdoor pizza oven and that is incredibly popular but for those that have a sweeter tooth we also offer a salted caramel chocolate brownie mountain! Our brownies are famous!
What is The Three Hills most unique feature?
Alongside the backdrop of our stunning traditional and contemporary surroundings, you will discover a team that is dedicated to ensuring you will have the most perfect day imaginable. With an award-winning kitchen, our most unique feature is that we can offer you a wonderfully creative feasting style menu where guests do not have to pre order and can rather enjoy the fun of sharing a specially curated feasting style menu chosen by you. This can be traditional choices or bring in elements of your own heritage and culture. Prefer to go à la carte - just let us know!

We have a strong reputation for offering the warmest welcome in Cambridgeshire. Our staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make sure that your day is simply perfect. All of our wedding couples comment on how warm and wonderful the entire team is and how they have felt super relaxed and confident that all is being taken care of.
