We don’t have a single fixed ceremony room, as the ship offers a variety of spacious areas that can be used depending on your preference. In good weather, ceremonies are usually held on the open weather deck, a stunning setting overlooking the River Clyde. This is where you’ll find the historic Glenlee Bell, which was first rung by Prince Philip. Couples can exchange vows in front of the bell and even ring it themselves once they are officially married.
You can hire the full ship for a full day, half day, or just the evening, depending on your plans. We’re very flexible with timings to suit your wedding.
For a full wedding day hire, access usually starts from around 9am for setup, with couples or close friends welcome from 10am if they’d like extra time to decorate. Guests typically arrive from around 1pm, and celebrations can continue through to midnight.
There is a large car park available that we share with the Riverside Museum, offering convenient parking for wedding guests.

The ship is very spacious and offers plenty of indoor areas, so your event can comfortably continue regardless of the weather. We also have flexible space options inside, allowing us to easily adjust the setup if outdoor plans need to move indoors.
We do much more than just venue hire. We’re happy to help with your planning and support you throughout the process. You can also meet us on the ship as many times as you like to go over details and make sure everything is exactly how you want it.
