Set in two acres of beautiful landscaped gardens in the rolling Northamptonshire countryside, The Stanwick Hotel provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. We have various rooms which are licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies. We have our Stunning Garden Pavilion, which is set outside in it's own private paddock, with amazing views.....We then have our Garden Conservatory which can accommodate up to 80 guests for your ceremony, with stunning views of the garden. For larger Ceremonies our “Reflections” function suite is the ideal venue. We can accommodate up to 130 for a sit down Wedding Breakfast and up to 250 for the evening reception. For a more intimate Ceremony, the “Dining Room” in the house can accommodate up to 18 guests. Whether or not your Ceremony takes place at The Stanwick Hotel we offer excellent facilities for Wedding Receptions, from drinks and canapés on the lawn to a relaxed garden party feel with a traditional Hog Roast. We are really pleased to announce that we have now added afternoon teas to our wedding packages.

You made us feel so looked after the whole day
Hello Marie We are back from honeymoon and I just wanted to say thank you so much for looking after us on the 11th June. From the moment we pulled up in Banksy the campervan, you were there with a drink and canapés! It was lovely to see you straight away and you made us feel so looked after the whole day. I loved seeing you walking round with your clipboard and checking in on us, spot on! ❤️x If we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing and we will be regular visitors to Stanwick. Amazing Wedding renewal of Vows celebrations
Wonderful Hotel made even more special by the staff, everyone there is helpful and so very friendly. We had our 30th Anniversary celebrations here and it was made so special by Hayley and all the staff. We had the photo booth by Stuart at Orson Events and their own disco with Jem, both were superb, music was great and we’ll be looking at the high quality shots from the booth for many years to come. I couldn’t recommend the Hotel enough, book it if you want to be treated in a very special way.

If I can stop one person receiving the service we received this review is worth it.
Well, where do I start. I'm not normally one for giving reviews but on this occasion I have made an exception. When we booked the wedding venue we were shown around by the wedding coordinator who explained to us that if we booked out rooms 1-7 then we got exclusive use of the lounge area, this area is cordoned off with those 7 bedrooms; part of the reason for us booking the Stanwick was this unique feature. We arrived Friday morning for our SPECIAL day and all seemed well, we checked in and my Bride and her bridesmaids made use of the lounge area to have a girly night in with fun and frolics, around 12:30am despite locking the adjoining door and with people in various states of dress a lady opened the door with a key and walked in with 2/3 male guests from the hotel. One of our guests was informed about this and went to reception to investigate who came in and why. He spoke to a lady who was the one who entered the premises (she claimed to be the owner) and our guest proceeded to explain the situation and what the wedding party had been told regarding the lounge, the lady was apologetic and seemed genuinely confused as to why we were not happy at people walking in at 12:30am (the lounge is right outside the bedrooms). The next day we were getting ready in the aforementioned lounge and there were people who were not part of the wedding party walking around, and whilst the Bride was stood in her dress waiting to walk to her bridal car a member of staff walked up to her and asked if anyone wanted to pay for their rooms even though it was previously agreed that it would all be sorted once we arrived back from the church (just what you want) Upon arriving back to the venue again all seemed well and trying not to ruin the experience anymore than it already was we then had to prompt the staff to do some simple tasks that come with hosting a simple dinner party let alone a wedding (I.e. collect dirty plates, bring out the puddings and clear tables of glasses) During the wedding our Bride decided to go back to her room to change into her evening attire unknowns to her there were 12/15 people in the supposedly exclusive lounge, they were watching football, eating food and generally getting drunk. As you can imagine not what you want on the most special day of your life. We went and spoke to the owner (the lady from the night before) who told us that she basically didn't care what the wedding coordinator had told us she makes the decisions on who does what. WOW, it very much seemed to us like we have now had all your money we don't care........ If through this review it allows one other person not to suffer the same fate that we did, then it was worth the time writing it.
