Choose from a selection of beautifully appointed spaces — including the romantic Wedding Garden, the atmospheric Library, the refined Sheridan with it's own private courtyard or the Sir Percy Blakeney Suite boasting a view over the Crescent Lawn - all licensed for ceremonies for up to 50 guests.
For a truly private celebration, exclusive use of the entire hotel is available for up to 100 guests. Head Chef Martin Blake and his brigade will create a bespoke menu tailored to your tastes, guiding you through a personalised tasting journey and from your initial enquiry to the final toast, our experienced Events Team will be by your side, ensuring every detail is seamlessly taken care of.

For the past seven years, we’ve celebrated our anniversary there, so it already felt like “our” place. From the moment we arrived for the wedding, that familiarity and warmth was there, the concierge and wider team recognised us and made us feel so welcome, which made the whole experience even more meaningful. We had our ceremony in Montagu’s Mews, followed by our wedding breakfast in a marquee in the gardens, and then moved back into the restaurant and bar for the evening celebrations. Every part of the day flowed seamlessly, and that is entirely down to the incredible team at the hotel. Carisma, the Senior Events Executive, was nothing short of phenomenal. From the planning stages through to the day itself, her organisation, calmness and attention to detail were outstanding. Once we had chosen our suppliers, she took on all of the coordination, managing who needed to be where and when, which completely lifted the pressure from us. We also had personal touches, like newspapers and chocolates placed in our guests’ rooms, and Carisma handled everything perfectly. One of the most important elements of the day for us was the food, and working with Carisma and Head Chef Martin Blake was an absolute highlight. They helped us craft a menu that was exactly what we wanted, and it exceeded all expectations on the day. Having exclusive use of the hotel was incredibly special. From the bridal suite, we could see just how well everything was being run behind the scenes. The entire team worked seamlessly, nothing was ever left unattended, and there was a real sense of professionalism and pride in everything they did. Communication throughout the day was excellent, and even when there were one or two very minor hiccups, the team handled them immediately with solutions ready, meaning we never had to worry. Because of the team, the entire day felt completely stress-free. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every single moment. I never really understood when people said your wedding day is the best day of your life, but now I absolutely do. It was perfection from start to finish, and we loved every second of it! Yes, we’ve been lucky to host a few high-profile guests and weddings. While we always respect our clients’ privacy, it’s lovely to be part of those special moments behind the scenes!
What’s your favourite canapé?
It's so hard to choose but the soy glazed king prawn with lemon gel
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
You can’t go wrong with our evening buffet— Wiltshire cured meats, Somerset cheeses, homemade breads, and chutneys.

Our lovely Pergola in our Wedding garden, perfect for outdoor ceremonies!
