Couples frequently elope to the Roman Baths while others choose to have intimate and grand celebrations.
Enjoy an outdoor wedding by flickering torchlight with the security of being undercover, always safe from the unpredictable British weather. Immerse yourselves in the romance of a Sunrise or Sunset torch-lit ceremony, where you will exchange your vows on the 2000-year-old Roman paving alongside the naturally thermal waters - the Great Bath is continuously filled with hot flowing water which rises up bubbling from deep underground, warmed by the heat of the earth’s
core.
Following a Sunrise Ceremony and photographs, you have the freedom to celebrate as you wish. Why not experience a special wedding breakfast in the iconic Pump Room above, book a private boat on the River Avon or take a dip in the naturally hot spring water at Thermae Bath Spa? Bath has so much to offer and the choices are endless.
After a Sunset Ceremony, couples can choose to celebrate with a seated dinner and dancing or a less formal catered party in the adjoining Georgian Pump Room or enclosed Terrace overlooking the thermal Baths.

What an incredible wedding venue!
We found the venue on instagram and were blown away by some of the photos that other couples had from their special day.
Fast forward to our big day. Everything was taken care of and the morning went completely and as smoothly as planned. The staff accommodated us and nothing was ever too much trouble. We had breakfast at the pump house and again the staff were brilliant.
What an incredible venue to get married at and what an brilliant team they have.

It was an amazing experience.
We want to say a massive “thank you” to you, for providing us the most amazing venue for our wedding.
We couldn’t believe our luck when offered the initial date (for 2020) two years ago, then the following one in May (2021), finally this one on 4th of Sep 2021. It was the exactly one year later. We are just blessed.
Our guests were delighted, impressed, honoured to be with us at our wedding. We've been receiving lots of fabulous shots for the venue since. It was an amazing experience. Nothing is too much for you. We are so grateful to the team Roman Baths, your patience, your understanding during this unique uncertain time. We will have special fondness every time when we pass by our favourite spot in town, it will remain so for the rest of our life.

One of the best weddings was arranged in just two weeks to allow a terminally ill Grandma to attend - it was a beautiful wedding.

Your photographer should be the second thing you book after the venue – good photographers get booked up very far in advance.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A father of the bride handmade wooden vases (in Gatsby style) for each table centre for his daughter's wedding. They were very special and beautifully made.
