The venue looked beautiful, and we loved being able to make it feel like ours with our Game of Thrones touches and crisp bar. Demi and the team were brilliant throughout the planning and helped us with last-minute amendments without any fuss. A huge shout-out to Karen, our master of ceremonies on the day. She made the day for us, kept us right and made sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to everyone at The Parlour for helping make our wedding such a memorable day. - JJade and Billy22/09/2026The most amazing staff and venueThe most amazing staff and venueThe Parlour at Blagdon was actually the first venue we looked at. We went to view a few others afterwards, but kept comparing them to The Parlour and ended up going back to our first choice. I think deep down we already knew it was the one . We were renewing our vows after 15 years of marriage, so it was a really special day for us , and The Parlour was absolutely perfect for it. I have to give a massive shout-out to Karen, our wedding coordinator on the day. She was honestly amazing. I was a bag of nerves at times and she was constantly checking on me, reassuring me and keeping me calm. She just seemed to know when I needed someone, without me even having to ask. She also got involved in all our little bits of chaos. I decided I wanted to secretly tape a ring underneath a friend’s chair without the groom knowing, so only the bridesmaids and a few of the staff knew about it. They helped us pull it off without giving anything away, which was brilliant. And then my dress strap decided to snap on my actual wedding day. Karen was straight there trying to sort it for me and honestly, I don’t know what I would have done without her. The venue looked gorgeous, everything came together exactly how we’d hoped and the whole day just felt really relaxed and special. We’ve had so many of our guests mention how lovely Karen was, which says a lot because she wasn’t just looking after us — she was looking after everyone. The day went ridiculously fast, but we honestly couldn’t have asked for much more. Thank you to everyone at The Parlour at Blagdon for being part of such a special day for us, and especially Karen for putting up with me, calming me down and helping with all my random plans❤️. From our very first visit to The Parlour, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The booking and planning process couldn’t have been easier from the very beginning. The staff were incredibly helpful, always quick to answer our emails and ensuring we knew they had received all of our music and other details. We had a fantastic tasting evening and great planning meetings, where we were given all the information and support we needed to make our day perfect. Now for the day itself! From the moment we arrived, we knew everything was going to run perfectly. A huge shout-out to the fabulous Karen, who kept us both at ease, made sure everything we had planned happened exactly as we imagined, and was such a bright light throughout our beautiful day. The BBQ menu was absolutely amazing, and all of our guests commented on how perfect it was for a summer wedding. The evening pizzas were also a huge hit! We couldn’t be more grateful to the entire team at The Parlour, the wonderful venue itself, and all of the vendors we booked for making our wedding day as beautiful and memorable as it was. Her dedication, kindness and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed, and she played such a big part in making our day as perfect as it was. The buildings are based around a centralised courtyard and it meant our wedding party had space to roam but also everyone was close enough to not feel divided if that makes sense. The staff members could not have done more for us, and our wedding party all commented on how brilliant the staff were too. We opted for the BBQ as our wedding breakfast again to create a more relaxed feel, but they offer the traditional 3 course wedding breakfast and other things like a hog roast or street food I think. The food was genuinely incredible!! So many people commented it was the best wedding food they’d ever had and I’d totally agree, the quality was really good and there was plenty of food, and they catered really well for our vegan and vegetarian friends too. We then had pizza for our evening food served from the outside pizza oven hatch which went down such a hit. They have lovely fairy lights around and also fire pits which set a good vibe for the evening!
