Beautiful venue and wonderful staff

From the moment we first visited The Old Mill we knew it was the venue for us. It's beautiful and unique without being over the top or show-y. The river, garden, flowers and trees make you feel close to nature, together with the quaint pretty building really makes you feel at home. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect venue to suit our tastes. Lauren's enthusiasm and passion for her job was infectious and really helped sell it to us. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process, always being attentive in replying to emails and during the final details meeting she really helped take a weight off our shoulders in pulling all the final details together. The day itself was perfect under her coordination and the rest of the staff were very friendly too. Thank you!

A perfect day from beginning to end!

Our wedding was beyond anything we dreamed of. Lauren is a miracle worker: we genuinely had no idea sometimes how she made things happen for us, she shocked us! From the first venue visit, we were blown away and the warm vibe of both the flowing water and Lauren’s hosting made it a no-brainer. And we really felt that they cared about us, authentically. Tilly was fantastic on the day; it’s astounding considering how many weddings they pull off every single year.

One of the best days of our lives!

When we set our eyes on The Old Mill, it was a cold, bright February day. No leaves on the trees and the flowers haven’t bloomed yet. But it still took our breath away. I remember thinking, “If it looked this lovely in February, imagine what it would like in May.” And it was the best decision we ever made. The team at the Old Mill were so supportive and always helpful when we had questions! We honestly couldn’t have done this without everyone at The Old Mill!

The perfect venue for our special day!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our special day. Lauren from the Old Mill was unbelievable throughout our entire planning process and on the day helped everything go ahead without a hitch! The rest of the staff were also an absolute pleasure including DJ Edd in the evening and the bar staff. The venue was the perfect size for our day and there was nothing better than being on their new patio on a summer's day!

Our Wedding Day

From the day we walked into the Old Mill we instantly fell in love with the venue. We were really lucky to have beautiful weather which meant the kids could really enjoy the grounds, the guests also loved the patio area for welcome drinks. The venue has been recently renovated and really brings the outside in! Lauren was absolutely incredible and made sure everything was perfect for our special day, we could not have done it without her!

Amazing June Wedding

We got married at the Old Mill in June and it was the most perfect day. The Mill had just had a refurb and we had the ceremony out on the patio followed by a drinks reception. It was a beautiful setting and when the fairy lights came on as the sun went down, it was so romantic. The venue has so many picturesque spots, great for photos either down by the river or along the tree line. The Wed Shed, run by Evie at the Mill decorated the venue to perfection and having them linked to the Mill made everything so much easier. Chris ensured the running of the day went so smoothly and everything went off without a hitch. All the staff are so friendly and accommodating and they were always on hand if we needed anything or to answer our emails as the big day got closer. It really was the best day of our life and we could not have picked a better venue.
