Describe the best wedding that happened at The Oaksmere?
Every wedding has it's own feel and flow making them completely unique and perfect in their own way. The Oaksmere has three private dining rooms, a cocktail bar, our large event marquee, terrace, grounds and Walled Garden mean that no two weddings are the same.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always remember to have fun! It can be easy to get weighed down in the details and forget the true meaning of celebrating each other in the presence of our nearest and dearest. If at any time it feels too much, relax and take a step back. Everything will always come together beautifully with the help of your wedding team.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The personal touches are everything. From bespoke cocktails served at the reception, named after the bride and groom, table names named after couples favourite things: travel destinations, whiskies, wines or pasta! New and innovative ways to display the table plan or menus on the table, there are so many little ways to make your wedding completely unique and all about you.
