The Northern Hotel, a hidden gem in the heart of the Angus countryside, has been providing hospitality for over three centuries. We can offer you the peace of mind knowing that special care will be taken to make your day one to remember. We fully understand the importance of your special day, and our aim is to assist you in making the day a truly memorable experience. A senior member of staff will be appointed to act as your personal wedding co-ordinator and will be on hand to guide and reassure you throughout the day. The Fraser suite and more intimate Anderson Room have been beautifully refurbished with oak wood, large windows and neutral colour schemes to blend with your bridal party. The scheme remains adaptable for your day whether you wish to add burgundy runners on the tables or an eight-foot Christmas tree! The Fraser Suite can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests whilst the Anderson Room is perfect for smaller parties and ceremonies to take place. The Northern is ideally situated within close proximity to 3 churches and the stunning Brechin Cathedral, and the House of Dun, although we would be delighted to host either a religious or civil ceremony within the hotel. The Northern boasts 15 beautifully styled en-suite bedrooms using sumptuous fabrics to ensure the comfort of you and your guests. Drawing on considerable knowledge and experience the management team is always on hand to give professional advice regarding any aspect of your wedding day, be it stationary, entertainment or wedding etiquette.
