Licensed for civil ceremonies in our three beautiful function suites, the flexibility of each allows our bridal couples to make their wedding day very different. Be it the grandeur of the King's Room, the intimacy and grace of the Oak Lounge, and the chic starlit Beach Club that overlooks our terrace, pool and gardens, there is a combination to make your wedding day perfect. Maybe your plans do not include a civil ceremony. In that case, the convenience of the beautiful and historic Church of the Holy Innocents lies just a ¼ of a mile away. Many couples who use the Kings Oak for their wedding receptions get married in this stunning Epping Forest church. The Kings Oak chefs always provide a first-class dining experience. Together with their skilled team, they will offer you a broad range of cooking styles and menu options for your wedding breakfast. Paula heads up our very proficient events team and has been with us since 2010. Having run clubs and promotions in Essex & London before she joined the Kings Oak, her events experience is unsurpassed. Paula has an amazing grasp of what the customer is looking for and is the 'go-to' person for wedding inspiration and customer service. Paula's assistant Skye started with us in 2014 and brought immense events experience to the KO team. With previous positions as VIP manager and head of promotions at some of Essex's prime venues, she brings the knowledge and energy that all our bridal couples find invaluable in their wedding planning. Coupled with a superb back-office team that runs the office like clockwork, your wedding planning could not be in better hands. The team are happy to discuss the Kings Oak being hired out on a dry hire venue-only basis. We appreciate that certain cultural requirements are sometimes best left to the wedding party. We had our wedding at The Kings Oak yesterday, everyone that attended said how beautiful the setting and all the rooms were. We have had many guests compliment the roast beef that was served perfectly and everyone adored the starter. All the food served on the day was delicious and the food and drink was on constant flow. We were made to feel comfortable and all my requests were met with no hesitation. They were all extremely accommodating and made the groom and I feel happy and relaxed all day through to the evening. Absolutely would recommend having a wedding or special event here! Thank you everyone

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

June 2022 - The wedding of ex-page 3 model and International singer Sam Fox to her partner Linda Olsen. As usual, the venue looked spectacular and Sam being from the entertainment business, we were asked to provide a host of entertainment throughout the day which of course we duly obliged, and it was unbelievably fun. A truly great celebration of love and romance.
