Excellent wedding at The Hoste
We had an outstanding experience with our wedding at The Hoste. The venue, in particularly Jade were excellent communicators and planners. Meticulous detail and thought meant we could relax and enjoy the day. Jade's prior experience of managing large weddings made our day a breeze. The staff were brilliant from management to the chef and wait staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they were committed to making every step special. We chose to order A-la Carte. The food was exceptional in taste, volume and quality with the chef adding little touches here and there. We had mixed weather on the day which meant a few last minute changes which was taken out of our hands and dealt with smoothly and efficiently. Our guests and ourselves wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Hoste as a wedding venue. We'd do it again in a heartbeat. Enjoy your big day whatever you decide x

We held our wedding reception at The Hoste at the end of May and also stayed for two nights either side of the wedding and wanted to say a huge thank you for an absolutely brilliant stay! First of all, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a large conservatory room and a garden out the back which is a lovely suntrap and we had it all to ourselves so it was perfect for our drinks reception. As for the wedding reception, the events manager, Jade, was absolutely brilliant every step of the way, right from our very first telephone call right through to the day itself. I cannot thank her enough! She was great at responding to all of my emails asking a million and one questions, she was very accommodating of all our requests, particularly as we wanted to have a ceilidh band for the evening! She was extremely thorough and her attention to detail made me know I was in safe hands! She really knows her stuff! This just made the whole process of planning the reception so easy and took a lot of the stress off me as the bride. The whole day ran smoothly like clockwork from our arrival for the drinks reception and canapés, dinner service for the wedding breakfast, clearing down the tables to make space for the band and dancing and lastly our ‘midnight snack’ at the end of the night, which all of our guests absolutely loved! Thank you Jade and to all your team! Martin was also a great help coordinating all the room bookings for our guests who all commented on how lovely their rooms were and that they all felt thoroughly spoilt, so thank you very much! We stayed in room 57 in the Vine House for the wedding night and I also stayed there the night before the wedding. The room is beautiful with a lovely big freestanding bath. I would definitely recommend The Hoste for anyone thinking of having their wedding there. It was a magical day we will never forget and thank you to everyone involved in making it so special!

From the very moment we arrived at The Hoste every member of staff was so very welcoming and friendly, our every need was catered for by all concerned. But a huge thank you must go to Erica The Hoste's very own wedding planner she was a real star and helped to make the day the absolute best, also the Food and Beverage Manager made sure the reception was perfect. So I would like to thank everyone for their care and attention to detail you are all stars.

Mr G and I got married at The Hoste. The hotel and Burnham Market are quintessential understated luxury. We wanted a low key but exquisite event and The Hoste delivers without question. Our ceremony was in the Garden Room (very pretty) followed by Champagne Afternoon Tea ( really too much to eat!). We then had a break for our guests to explore the village and coast and met again for cocktails , canapés and a utterly delicious 3 course dinner (in the front restaurant overlooking the village) including 'Deep Fried Tempura Oyster' - melts in the mouth. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday and loved it!

Wedding To Remember due to Amazing Staff & Venue!
My Husband and I got married at the Hoste on the 4th June 16 & it was the most amazing day with the most amazing people in our life all supported by the wonderful staff and managers at The Hoste. Every little element was beautiful ranging from the rooms, the location, the food & drink. Absolutely anything was possible in their eyes and they couldn't do enough for us to ensure our day ran smoothly without fault. Every single person that attended the wedding could not rate the venue highly enough and everyone wants to do it all over again. We will without a doubt have The Hoste as a special place in our hearts and would recommend the venue to everyone. You without doubt get what you pay for with a special mention for Erica who ensured the wedding was seamless with Martin ensuring we had rooms available for our guests, James also added a special touch by ensuring all was running as smoothly as possible and each staff member deserves a round of applause for the great attitude & hard work they put in to make our special day truly unforgettable. I think table plans are an under personalised element of a wedding, a recent couple named their tables after countries they had visited, using a world map as the table plan, it felt like you were learning something new about the couple!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

I just love the courtyard! It is very South of France and a bit of a suntrap so you can get some really beautiful photos in there.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

It has to be a bacon sandwich, always with brown sauce!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The amount of exclusive space you get, although we are a hotel the residents would never know a wedding was happening and your guests have lots of space just for them!
