Description

Boasting the finest Georgian interiors in Bath, the Guildhall is a stunning backdrop for wedding parties, large or small. It has two ornate ceremony rooms and a grand Banqueting Room, giving you the freedom to continue your celebrations on-site or take a short stroll to the nearby Roman Baths & Pump Room for your evening reception. You have a choice of two ceremony rooms: the Council Chamber, with its dramatic dark wood, fixed seating, and marble columns, or the classically beautiful Brunswick Room, which offers plenty of scope for customisation. The Banqueting Room, the largest room in the Guildhall, is decorated with intricate cornicing, glittering chandeliers, and royal portraits. It is a stately room and with the option to choose all your own suppliers, it is a surprisingly versatile venue for wedding ceremonies or receptions. The Banqueting Room can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner, although this number reduces should you wish to add a stage and space for a dance floor. Adjoining this grand room is the Aix-en-Provence Room, an inviting smaller space perfectly suited to act as a bar area. The Guildhall allows flexibility in choosing your catering. The venue has a list of trusted caterers who are familiar with the Guildhall and its kitchen and have been endorsed by previous clients.
