You can invite up to 100 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 130 for the evening reception. Every wedding we host includes provision of the venue, an indoor bar with late licence, outside bar, tables and benches, and 1 night accommodation for the couple by our lake.

Our farmyard idyll is full of quirky spaces where DIY wedding dreams are encouraged to come true. At The Giraffe Shed, you get more than just a barn wedding - create your own personal festival, or put your modernist stamp on our industrial venue. The Giraffe Shed has been designed so you can have a completely personalised wedding venue for your special day.
There are a few romantic touches we couldn’t resist including: our cosy pink area, candy striped walls, a fevered fondness for disco balls… But really our venue is about facilitating your wildest wedding dreams.

The rock that held us together
Hannah was the rock that held us together for over two years to get us
to the big day. We initially booked the venue back in October 2019 then
COVID hit… After that life took a different turn and we postponed again
due to the birth of our baby. We finally got it altogether and headed off
to the shed in September 2022 to get married! Hannah and Neil felt like
old friends that just KNEW us already. They gave us direction where we
needed it and stepped back when we had our own ideas. They’re not
just venue owners, they really do provide so much more. I knew that if
things were getting tricky with planning or I had just forgotten to order
something then Hannah would be there to give me a hand.
On the day itself, Hannah and Neil ran around ensuring we had the very
best day and kept it altogether. Hannah kept timings running smooth
and kept us calm when the food supplier broke down.
I am sure we’ll keep in touch with Hannah and Neil :) The Giraffe Shed
really is a special place that will hold a place in my heart forever. I really cannot wait to go back to visit soon.

Wouldn't have been the same!
We couldn’t have had a day like we did without Han and Neil. Throughout all of the stages, Han was around for any questions and gave such valuable advice from a wedding and photographer perspective – especially about timings. Nothing felt prescribed or like we were on a conveyor belt, and we genuinely feel like we could drop in and say hi. Without them, our wedding would not have been the same!

Describe the best wedding that happened at The Giraffe Shed?
We actually cannot choose the best wedding. Some fave moments include - ALL of the celebrant led ceremonies - they are always just pure joy, group photos in our bath, shots instead of champagne, saxophone wildness on the dance floor (actually our dance floor is always pretty wild)!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Liaise with your venue, take their advice on what works best - they know their stuff.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A vinyl single for each guest as a wedding favour - favours can often be an afterthought and we just find them scattered about and disguarded by the end of the day, but these were really personal and such a special gift for each guest.
