A very warm welcome to The Friars, Aylesford. We are delighted that you are considering us as the reception venue for your special day.
We have three main options for your wedding reception which are, The Pilgrims’ Hall Package, The Twilight Package or hiring the North Barn on a self-catering basis.
The Friars offers a truly breath-taking location and you will be amazed at its beautiful surroundings, the perfect backdrop for wedding photos which can be taken in the Courtyard and other areas of the grounds, detailed further in the brochure.
At the Friars we strongly believe that there is no set formula for your wedding reception, and we pride ourselves in our flexibility and ability to deliver the day of your dreams from the moment you book, right up until the last moments of your magical day.
We will take time and pay attention to your individual tastes and requirements, and will be on hand with every step of the planning to offer reassurance, inspiration and special tips to ensure a relaxed and smooth running wedding reception for all.
For our all-inclusive Pilgrims' Hall Package couples will have exclusive use of our stunning 13th Century Pilgrims’ Hall which is the oldest building here at The Friars. You will also have use of our historic North Barn to hold your evening reception.
As food is one of the main highlights of a successful wedding, all our menus are tailor-made to suit your requirements. Your guests will enjoy a sumptuous wedding breakfast prepared on site by our Head Chef and their loyal team.
The happy couple will be offered a discount on their bedroom, in our guesthouse that holds up to 120 guests should they choose to stay here for Bed and Breakfast. There is ample free parking on site for all guests and both the Pilgrims’ Hall and North Barn are within walking distance of each other.
