Special mention must go to Daisy, Jesse & Chris who were always on hand to help with anything and everything - they seemed to never stop! The day itself ran very smoothly, the food was excellent and the venue was absolutely perfect for us and suited the vibe that we were after! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and our guests loved the unique themes that each room had. The entire staff were fantastic on the day and in the build up. They helped set up our tea and dessert table perfectly and got everything ready the night before so we could add our name cards, favours and little details. Even when the weather turned and we had to move indoors, they handled it so calmly and kept everything organised. Our room was well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast - a good continental selection and a good cooked menu option - freshly cooked by request - delicious! The hotel is old, so don’t expect a modern furniture layout in the bedrooms - I suspect they are all different, and a bit quirky - but for us this just added to the charm of the hotel. The weather was boiling and so the air con in the cermony room was much needed. The garden looked lovely and waa well used by our guests. Food was lovely.
