Situated in the heart of The Merchant City, and standing on the site of The prominent City Merchant George Buchanan's private residence. In 1842 the original building was demolished to make way for the Glasgow and Ship Bank. Converted into a Judiciary court in 1920. and painstakingly restored to preserve and revive it’s stunning original architecture in 1999. Following a multi million pound refurbishment in 2010 we opened our doors as The Corinthian Club. A multi award winning wedding venue, catering for intimate gatherings to Lavish Celebrations we have a room to suit all tastes. Fully licensed to host your wedding from ceremony into the wee hours. Intimate private dining from 10-20 guests in Lairds or Nosey Parker rooms. Langley, Hempel and Mercer are 3 unique and contemporary spaces for smaller weddings of up to 50 guests. Our purpose built Flying Scotsman suite is decorated in muted colours with striking feature lighting, the perfect setting for your fairytale wedding, holding up to 250 guests. with exclusive use of our upstairs mezzanine for a glass of fizz and delicious canapes, your guests will be in awe of this enchanting space. Our brand new all inclusive wedding package has been carefully crafted to include all the essentials to create a truly magical day and ensure your planning process is stress free. On the day was flawless with all food served on time according to the itinerary Tabetha gave us and our waitress for the room was extremely attentive. She ensured drinks continued flowing throughout the evening. Overall a fantastic experience from start to finish and we would highly recommend the Corinthian.I cannot fault the attention to detail & communication from Tabetha and the team in the planning of our day. On the day was flawless with all food served on time according to the itinerary Tabetha gave us and our waitress for the room was extremely attentive. The support and care we received from Tabbi was exceptional, she is a credit to the Corinthian and her hard work and attention to detail shouldn’t go unnoticed. Having Tabbi as our wedding co-ordinator made the whole wedding planning process feel so easy and seamless, she made everything so easy for us that we felt so relaxed, comfortable and most importantly safe to leave our wedding day in her and her amazing teams hands. Every single person that was involved in our day was incredible and we cannot thank them all enough. Everyone went above and beyond for us and the service was massively complimented by our guests.The food was outstanding, from the breakfast with the bride right through to the evening buffet. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was and everything being served so professionally, in a timely manner and also tasting incredible! This really was the wedding of our dreams and the perfect venue for us as a couple. If we could have designed our dream venue, it would have been the Corinthian. Everything was absolutely perfect, we have 0 faults from the day and also from the planning process. From the moment we enquired Tabetha, the wedding events manager could not have done more for us. She helped us create a perfect day despite experiencing some difficulties in our reasoning for moving our wedding forward. The space we had exclusive access to in Charlie Parker’s and Private Parker’s was perfect for a wedding and gave us and our guests so much room to mingle and relax. Tabbi is the absolute best at what she does and felt more like family come the actual wedding day. She took all of the stress out of some of the mundane parts of planning and the package we got for our guests is well worth the money. Our guests still tell us what an amazing day and night they had and that’s all thanks to Tabbi, her team and the gorgeous venue the Corinthian is. The food was outstanding from canapés to our meal and everyone was well fed and watered with plenty of drinks the whole night. Tabbi thought of extra touches we could add including a Mr and Mrs cocktail which our guests loved and made the whole process of booking, paying and organising everything down from stationary, seating plans to our DJ absolutely seamless. Tabbi went above and beyond, was very friendly and professional, and ensured our wedding went like clockwork. She listened to everything we wanted and organised the perfect day for us. The Flying Scotsman is a beautiful venue for a wedding reception, and Bespoke Touches, a company Tabbi recommended, decorated the room, which was stunning. We chose the Boutique Bar as a reception area for our guests arriving, where they could have a drink before the ceremony, which was beautiful. After the wedding ceremony, the guests gathered in the mezzanine area, where a glass of bubbly and canapes were served. For the dinner later, a regiment of waiting staff served delicious piping hot food with Tabbi at the helm. So, hats off to the Chef and the kitchen staff for the quality and choice of food served. Bar staff also deserve a mention. The service was excellent. Tabbi went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, even going as far as arranging with the Chef to make a special one-off gluten-free dessert for the bride. The teamwork was terrific, and Tabbi ensured everything ran smoothly. Our guests are still talking about what a great day it was and were very impressed with the venue, food, staff, and organisation. Tabbi was our main contact - she answered all our questions very promptly and was just so lovely. We couldn't have asked for a better person to help us navigate through this process - we live in Canada so having Tabbi's help made everything so easy which took away all our stress so we could enjoy the process We really cant thank her enough. The venue is just incredible and had such a wow factor - the first time we saw it in person we was blown away as was all of our guests who raved about it -from the ceiling, the lighting, the furniture and table set up. It looked stunning The food was so delicious and plenty of it, great portion sizes and catered for our guest dietaries with no issues. We loved the modern, glam feel of the entire building, loved how easy it was to access for guests and our transport from home and it was honestly just so fab. The food was absolutely amazing and all of our guests commented on how tasty it was and the service on the day was just one in a million! Tabbi ensured the whole day ran smoothly and was unbelievably accommodating and available to my husband and I throughout the course of the day which was just amazing. We really could not have wished for a better wedding planner / coordinator and she played such a huge part in our perfect day – even guests were commenting on how fab Tabbi was.
