Welcome to The Boundary, your exclusive use wedding venue. Created to offer an outstanding setting for your dream wedding. The Boundary is set within the 10 acres of privately owned Garons Park Trust land in the heart of Southend-on-sea. The informal yet immaculate grounds marry perfectly with the beautiful Essex landscape, our recently renovated scoreboard barn and outstanding marquee, offering couples the perfect venue. The grounds include a large nature reserve including a pond and sensory garden. This coupled with the cricket field provides an exceptional photo backdrop.
The Boundary started as and still is a family run business. We believe that being a family run venue, we are able to provide an exceptional level of attention to detail which ensures the perfect day for our couples.

The Boundary began when my husband and I could not find a suitable reception venue for our wedding. Our wish was for a venue that was flexible, a blank canvas and an incredible food offering. The only option was to build a venue - and here we are!

Amazing venue!
We had such an amazing wedding at The Boundary. The venue is beautiful. I loved the barn feel inside the score board and the marquee looked amazing. The food at The Boundary is so good!! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and so glad we chose it! It really is a hidden gem!

The best venue in South Essex
The Boundary as a wedding venue really is a hidden gem amongst other wedding venues in South Essex. The view out over the cricket pitch on a late summers evening really is as idyllic as it sounds.
The staff and crew are exceptional and the continuous improvement to the venue and facilities makes it a perfect option for any wedding.

Fantastic and flexible wedding venue
We had a fantastic experience of hosting our wedding at The Boundary.
Charlotte was incredibly accommodating and flexible with our choices for the day, and made some very helpful suggestions on how to make things run smoothly, on photographers, and other services to use. The open day gave us useful insight into what the day could look like, and connected us with other wedding services that we ended up using.
The flexibility of the venue allowed us to have a special experience that was not only personal to us, but also allowed us to have a hybrid of traditional and modern touches. The staff were friendly and helped to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
Jack amazed us with the curated menu suggestions - we were blown away by the food and received a lot of compliments from guests! The grounds were very well maintained and provided a natural, quirky backdrop for our photos.

A truly special day
The boundary is such a gorgeous venue. From first viewing, which is amazing anyway, it’s actually quite unbelievable what can be achieved beyond that.
It’s very unexpected and a lovely setting that feels like you are in the middle of nowhere but so easily accessible.
Charlotte is absolutely brilliant and her knowledge is what unlocks this gem.
Smooth sailing from arrival it was just the perfect day. 5 stars isn’t enough

The best day!
We had the most amazing wedding day at The Boundary. The venue is beautiful and all our guests raved about the food. The staff were fantastic all day and Charlotte was a great coordinator. Make your own day
After looking at what seemed like a hundred venues I stumbled across the boundary online and after visiting was so glad we had. The venue itself is lovely and really is a blank canvas to put your own stamp on. Charlotte was always welcoming and happy to help us bring our ideas to life, we had so much more freedom food and drink wise then anywhere else we had looked at and was able to make it so much more personal to us because of this. The food was all delicious.
Everyone that came to the day had nothing but praise for everything a great day was had by all!
Would recommend anyone looking to visit the boundary and see for yourself we wouldn't have changed a thing about our day.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
There is no way we can choose - they are all amazing! (Although Charlotte might say her own but thats justified surely we want everyone to always say their wedding is the best they have been too!)
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make your planning appointments into dates - come view our venue and enjoy a wander around the grounds with a glass of fizz! We also offer private tasting events for your wedding breakfast.
Do this for all your planning - turn a visit to the florist into brunch beforehand, or ask your cake maker to send samples to taste and have afternoon tea at home, or have an evening at home with a takeaway listening to music making playlists!
Also - most travel agents will provide you with drinks and snacks whilst you ponder ideas!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A grooms dad performing the ceremony, it was beautiful to watch and so very personal. There was tears all round including all the staff!
We are very excited that we have a brides brother due to be performing a ceremony in 2021.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Its random - but the galvanised steel water storage is a great backdrop for some urban styled shots.
The centre of the cricket pitch is also beautiful!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Sadly not - but we are sure we will one day!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Lamb kofta with smoked aubergine
or
Taramasalata on flatbread with pickled cucumber
(we cannot pick just one!)
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Pizza Van, the Puttanesca (Anchovies, capers and black olives with mozzarella cheese) is devine!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Scoreboard ceremony area! Its very unexpected! I dont think we have had a single couple view the venue without saying we had no idea this was here!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
That our couples become our friends and they want to come back to see us for other celebrations like birthdays and christenings. We absolutely love this!
