That Amazing Place

We had our wedding at That Amazing Place on Friday 28th October 2022... It had been booked for almost 4 years by this point and postponed twice due to covid! During this time Angie and all her team were absolutely amazing at helping rearrange and support any decisions we made! Our actual wedding day was everything we wanted and so much more! I smiled from ear to ear all day! So much so that everyone commented that they had never seen a happier looking bride :) All our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been too! From the venue, to the staff, catering, grounds... everything is just Amazing! I cannot thank you all enough for all your help and support! I wish I wish we could so it all over again! It feels like a home from home which is why we fell in love with the venue in the first place - nothing is too much, nothing is made to feel rushed! It is just perfect! We had the pleasure of getting married here on Friday 21st October 2022. All we can say is that it really does live up to its name of “That Amazing Place”. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and I can’t thank Angie enough for all her hard work during the planning and the actual day itself. Everything seemed to go very smoothly and how we wanted and again that’s all down to Angie working her magic in the background. We have felt so at ease and so comfortable, Nothing was too much to ask for and we felt so welcome. We chose Magpie catering for the wedding breakfast, The food was delicious and the team were brilliant. Very professional and very friendly, so thank you! Also the staff at the venue who served us our drinks through the reception and evening are Absolutely brilliant, they made us laugh and feel so welcome too. Not to mention Andy our DJ for the evening, What an awesome man! He had everyone up dancing all night which was incredible to see. We were lucky enough to stay overnight and celebrate again the next morning with our closest friends and family for breakfast which again was absolutely lovely. We even got a good bye from Alfie (one of their gorgeous doggies). We can’t recommend this venue enough, everyone who attended has said how beautiful and amazing it was and how brilliant the day and night were. We are still very much in the wedding phase and keep reminiscing about our day! Thank you so so much!

Where to begin? That Amazing Place (TAP) was the first wedding venue we viewed, and we fell in love with it straight away. We viewed others but for the quality and price comparison, in our opinion, nothing came close to TAP. We originally planned to have a small intimate wedding, but this quickly spiralled, and we needed to make use of the marquee on the grounds. What I will say is, you absolutely get use of both the beautiful Georgian Manor House and the marquee on the day of your wedding if you’re having a large number of guests. What we loved most about TAP were the beautiful grounds and most importantly for us, the exclusivity - knowing that the venue was ours alone was so reassuring for us, and it really made the day special. The venue itself is kept beautifully and they really do go that extra mile to make sure it’s as special as it can be - even down to pumping water from the lake on the grounds during the summer, to make sure out door weddings looked their best in photos! The rooms offered are big, clean and modern, and the bridal suit is perfect for getting ready in. Angie and Paul were very accommodating on issues of mobility and room use, and I loved that they offered us the golf buggie (driven by staff) to get guests with mobility issues to the outdoor gazebo. It really was a big help, and reassured my concerns for some our elderly guests. We had so many lovely comments on how beautiful the venue was, and we were thrilled with everything that Angie and the teams involved produced. We used TAP recommended suppliers, and they really made the process easier because they all know each other, which means I didn’t have to do much at all! We used Premier Crew, and the food was incredible. What was nice to see was how well Angie and Sarah got on at our final planning meeting, they were in sync and that alone provided us with such confidence. Every staff member we came across was so polite and professional both on the day, and during breakfast the next day. Even the security men couldn’t be more helpful - thank you for delivering those pizzas to our room! The real crown in the jewel is Angie, she was superb from start to finish. She was fantastic answering all my emails and was such a reassuring presence throughout the entire process. I felt calm that our day was partly in her hands, and cannot thank Angie enough for making it such an enjoyable process. Well what can I say. Yesterday was the most amazing day! We cannot thank you enough for everything that you did for us, you were incredible. That Amazing Place - well it really does live up to it's name. Everyone said that the venue was absolutely stunning and that the whole day was perfect. It was a day we've been waiting for to complete our family and we couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate with our family and friends. Thank you again, Mr & Mrs McCormick ♥️

I got married at TAP at the beginning of September. From the moment I viewed the venue I knew it was where I wanted to get married. No other venue came close. I feel so lucky to of found TAP, from the very start Angie the wedding director was fantastic! She was on the ball with everything, no question was ever too big or small. She was always on hand to help in any way she could. Planning a wedding can be stressful and she really made things a lot easier. On the day I felt so relaxed I knew everything was in safe hands. The whole day ran like clockwork, everything was just perfect, I enjoyed every single second. The venue really is amazing and so are the staff. I wish I could do it all again! Thank you so much! What an AMAZING venue and team! We honestly couldn’t recommend That Amazing Place highly enough! The venue is stunning, the house is perfect, spacious, light, clean and well maintained, the gardens are beautiful. We had our reception on terrace outside, then wedding breakfast and evening party in the marquee, with drinks in the house during the changeover of the marquee set up for the evening. The day flowed perfectly in this space! Also all our guests that stayed onsite loved their rooms, and the breakfast and hospitality provided by Angie and Paul! My partner and I currently live abroad and were debating arranging a wedding planner to help us plan the day however dealing with Angie from That Amazing Place and Sarah from Premier Crew pre wedding was fantastic there was absolutely no need for any extra help! They were so flexible, offering recommendations and advice, we felt so confident and comfortable dealing with them, and on the day they only exceeded expectations! Making us feel totally at ease, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone commented on the wonderful set up, venue and how fantastic the staff onsite were. They made us feel like it was our home for the day and night, and we can’t thank Angie, Paul, Sarah from Premier Crew and the rest of team for making our day so wonderful! We couldn’t have chosen a better venue and caterers for the day! Leah and Mike !
