Talbooth House

After our original covid wedding was cancelled and our original venue let us down, we came to Talbooth and they couldn't be more accomodating. We had lovely in person meetings and tours, really welcome staff from day 1 who really listened to our vision. They answered all emails quickly and the team worked so well together and communicated well! I was able to stay in the most beautiful cottage at Talbooth which was absolutely stunning, so spacious and luxurious, really kept me calm and relaxed before the big day! On the day of the wedding, the wedding team were so organised, I had a car to pick me up, everyone was so friendly and they made our day run so smoothly! The venue is so picturesque and we were able to capture such amazing photos. All our guests commented on what a beautiful venue it was and our photographer was in her element. I cannot thank the team enough for bringing our vision to life, giving us a perfect, relaxed intimate wedding!!

We would really recommend Talbooth house , and spa . It was an amazing day, From the start, going to the wedding show at The Talbooth , We had such good advice, from Kayleigh and the team, what to do, from the photographer? where to order flowers from? what food and drink to have? what venue would like? Milsom hotels are a group of hotels and restaurants, so there where so many options , We opted to have Talbooth house and spa , Just WOW It’s so beautiful , We all were made to feel so special, My family have lots of different needs,( they were all catered for so well ) We got married in the garden room , canapés at the pool, and a barbecue , then a hot/ cold buffet for the evening, We had the hotel all for my family it was so fantastic to pop down to the pool and then have breakfast , I can’t say thank you enough to all the staff Chefs ,cleaners, managers, Spar girls will be there for makeup, BIG Thank you to all xxx

We had a small intimate wedding at Talbooth House and Spa and it was just perfect. From the events team leading up to the big day and then on the day itself, the staff could not do enough for us. Nothing is too bigger job for them and they made the day so special. We had exclusive use of the house and it was such a wonderful day and night finishing off with breakfast in the morning before our guests checked out. The food and service was fabulous (our guests loved the beef wellington!).

Talbooth House & Spa is the most incredible venue to hold intimate Weddings. To have your nearest and dearest with you from start to finish, staying in what is the most beautiful house with full spa facilities (including a heated outdoor pool) is just a dream! The only thing I can think of that tops all the above is the catering – being a Milsom venue, you benefit from having them as the exclusive caterers. Believe me when I say – you won’t need to look anywhere else. It doesn’t stop with the facilities and food either. You know you’re in a Milsom establishment from the moment you enter, simply by the way you’re greeted and then looked after. The staff at Talbooth House & Spa are professional, friendly and trained to a very high standard in hospitality (and it shows). Talbooth House & Spa is located in the heart of the countryside with a stunning view across Dedham. This creates the most magical backdrop for your photographer/videographer in capturing those memories that will last a lifetime. The house, grounds and pool house are all picturesque locations and I highly recommend taking a look for yourself before you commit to any other venue.
