Welcome to The Surrey Downs Golf Club, a modern and stylish venue, it is perfect for your wedding celebrations.
Having held a license to host your civil ceremony since 2015, we’ve seen countless couples say ‘I do’ in our beautiful surroundings, and we can’t wait for yours to be next! Our ceremonies and receptions take place in the Willow Suite, a stunning space which boasts beautiful views across the course, providing a wonderful backdrop for your celebrations. This self-contained suite can accommodate up to 150 people and has its own private entrance, bar and patio area. The light, modern room acts as a blank canvas for your style and theme, the neutral décor allows you to dress the room however you like.
Throughout the venue, there are many elegant and impressive areas for your important wedding photos. The course, patio area, and entrance provide the perfect backdrop for your special wedding photos, and the balcony offers the opportunity for unique aerial shots of you and your guests.
At Surrey Downs Golf Club, we recognise that no two weddings are the same, so we want to provide your dream day. We have adapted our wedding package to reflect the individualities of each and every couple; you can build your own bespoke day rather than picking a set package.
For your wedding breakfast, we offer a fantastic range of delicious menus with both delectable formal meal options and a mouth-watering buffet.

Fabulous venue, Fabulous team, Fabulous day!
From the very first contact the experience of working with this venue was easy and straight-forward. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The venue is beautiful and the landscape lovely. Every effort was made to make sure our day was special and went smoothly. I want to make a special mention of Rachael who is the events coordinator, from the very start to finish was a joy to work with. She was wonderful to work with and made the most stressful moments, much more pleasant. I would definitely say, if it works for you, don't hesitate to use this space!

We held our wedding and reception in the Willow Suite at SDGC
Akila the manager and his staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating they bent over backwards to make sure that the day ran smoothly, the food was excellent, the sevice superb, the bar staff friendly and efficient, all added to make a perfect day.

Fantastic memorable wedding experience we would like to thank Rachael our wedding coordinator at Surrey Downs
We had visited a few venues before deciding on Surrey Downs for our wedding reception. We fell in love with Surrey Downs as we loved the beautiful outdoor views and the large space in the Willow suite. Rachael our wedding coordinator at Surrey Downs was extremely professional, polite and understanding. Rachael helped me in making multiple decisions to plan our day. Rachael was a massive support throughout the covid lockdown when we made the tough decision of changing our wedding day date. Throughout the wedding planning, Rachael was attentive to our needs, responding promptly and answering any queries we had in the lead up to our big day. On the day, we had the perfect weather, we were very lucky. The venue looked absolutely beautiful; Rachael assisted our wedding decorators in creating our vision.
The wedding breakfast was spot on, our guests were very impressed, the chef did an amazing job. Akila then supported us in the evening and checked to make sure everything ran smoothly.
A big success overall and a great experience, one we will never forget. Lots of fantastic memories made all with the help of a great venue and supportive team at Surrey Downs. Thanks again to Rachael, you are a true professional and we appreciate all the love and care you gave to make our wedding day a success. Amanda & Michael x

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Too many to pick just one. We're surrounded by 180 acres of grounds creating the most picturesque setting for your wedding photos.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Every couple is a celebrity on their big day! However, we recently helped bring a beautiful family together on ITVs Long Lost Family.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our Chefs are passionate about the food they create. Our top two favourites have to be the Smoked salmon and cream cheese blinis and the Salted caramel coated profiteroles to satisfy our sweet tooth. Yum!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We love our delicious hog roast that is cooked on site and superbly carved as well as our grab and go bacon rolls, perfect for a quick snack before hitting the dance floor!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The pergola that frames the entrance to the Willow Suite. At night time it comes alive with fairy lights and lanterns creating the most magical photos for you and your partner.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Without a doubt our team! Nothing is to much trouble, they go the extra mile to create an unforgettable experience for our couple and their guests.
