Spinnaker Tower is the perfect setting for exquisite evening receptions from 7:30pm. The stunning views of the South coast create an idyllic backdrop to set a beautifully romantic scene for your special day. We offer unmatched experiences led by our dedicated wedding team.
Your wedding breakfast takes place on View Deck 1, home to our glass floor, where your guests can indulge in the luxury of dining 100 metres in the sky, surrounded by sparkling night time views or a spectacular sunset. With an extensive range of menus available, our caterers are happy to devise a bespoke menu in consultation with their head chef tailored to your specific requirements.
Evening guests are invited to join you in the Spinnaker Kitchen & Bar from 8.30pm where they can enjoy music and dancing. They too can share the full Spinnaker Tower experience as the View Decks stay open until 11pm.
Our Wedding Coordinator will be available throughout the evening to put your mind at rest, leaving you free to enjoy your wedding.

Amazing, So Much Fun, Wonderful
"Amazing", "So much fun" and "wonderful!" were just some of the comments from our guests to our wedding last week at the spinnaker.
Personally, I couldn't agree more! Special Thanks go to Bobbie and Nelson for organizing our big day but we must convey our thanks to all of the staff there., as they were all so attentive and professional. The afternoon tea was plentiful & tasty and the views were magical- made our special day absolutely unforgettable. If I could give six stars, I would happily do so as thank you doesn't really express my gratitude. I would highly recommend this stunning venue for a quick visit, a function or a wedding- World Class.

Fabulous! An amazing team who exceeded our expectations
An amazing venue and location. My only change I would make is allowing the wedding to start earlier and to be able to clear out members of public (at a cost to the day) which would allow an earlier wedding breakfast and there for a longer evening party

Getting married overlooking the ocean...
My husband and I got married at the Spinnaker Tower in August of 2019.
The day was a whirlwind, as I'm told they always are however I felt truly safe in the knowledge that the team at the venue had everything sorted!
We had made enquires a good year or so before the wedding and had been over the plans for the day extensively in this time. Although the venue had a change of hands in management when we were in the middle of planning, things still seemed to run smoothly.
My husband and I actually ended up moving back to NZ a year before the wedding and ended up communicating mostly via email which the venue handled very well.
The day really did fly by and the team managed all of our requests very well.
If I could have my day again, getting married overlooking the sparkling ocean, not a cloud in the sky, I would do it in a heartbeat. Getting married overlooking the ocean and seeing the setting sun at the reception was heavenly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend getting married up the tower.

Absolutely perfect day and managed with perfection
The whole team worked hard to get everything absolutely perfect, and the day went better than we could have imagined. Loved your personal touches and how willing you were to accommodate us! only downside being the parking for the wedding vehicle.... but that can’t really be changed with the location it is!

Most Magical, Unforgettable Day
A massive thank you to James and his team for making our wedding day at the Spinnaker Tower the most magical, unforgettable day for us and all of our guests.
Despite the rain battering down outside, we could not have picked a better venue. Everything had been organised beautifully and once inside the weather was forgotten.
The day ran smoothly, all stress gone as James and his team worked so hard to create the perfect ambience and day for us. I also must mention the outside agencies that James also recommended who did an outstanding job with regards to flower arrangements, food, balloons etc and a massive thank you to the bar and lift staff, running around keeping us all happy.
An absolutely incredible day, one my husband and I will treasure forever.

Couldn’t have asked for a more magical venue for o
Suzie and I couldn’t have asked for a more magical venue for our wedding. James and his team have to be the best in the business. The organisation, communication and 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude made our wedding day absolutely first class. I thought it would be hard to compete with the beauty of the tower itself. But James' team along with the companies we used for catering, decorating and photography were second to none. Getting married at the Spinnaker Tower is a no brainer, not only because of the venue but the outstanding service from James and his team which make the day stress free.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It would have to be the wedding with the Lightsabers. The couple were really lovely and fun to work with. The cake they had made wasn't exactly what they had planned but were happy to roll with it and they celebrated with a High Tea in our Cloud's Cafe for their wedding breakfast. It was an amazing day for all.

Do lightsabers count? We had an amazing wedding where the lightsabers from the original Star Wars trilogy were the guest stars.

Well I couldn't just choose one myself so I asked all of the staff and we have agreed the Towers favourite canape is Halloumi wrapped in smoked Streaky Bacon.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A nice bacon roll whilst sat on the terrace watching the ships in the harbour.

The glass floor on our Sky Deck at 100m
