Exclusive use of the venue for 2 nights over a weekend, which includes accommodation for up to 36 people in the main house and cottage, use of the gardens, the library or barn for the ceremony, use of party cellar, cinema/games room and pool in the summer, the rental costs are below. There may also be a function fee for events if your guest numbers are more than the house capacity, which is £30 per guest. This fee allows for use of the barn or to erect a marquee for a function, the decked terrace area and also a wedding manager for the day. *An additional night (Sunday) can be added for £500, an early check-in (a day earlier) would be £1000. All 1 night midweek dates are 50% lower than the weekend rate. All 2 night midweek dates are 25% lower than the weekend rate. Weekly rates will be 150% of the weekend rate

We’re definitely not your typical wedding venue. Sure, we can host a traditional white wedding reception, just like anyone else, but if you’re looking for something daring, different and decadent, well, that’s right up our alley! The grade II listed house and grounds can be entirely yours for the day, the weekend or the whole week. Our grounds feature rolling parkland, kitchen garden, paddocks and an apple orchard which all are inhabited by our sheep and shaggy Shetland ponies and Alpacas. We are licensed to hold marriage ceremonies in The Library (up to 25 guests), The Barn (250 guests) as well as outside anywhere on the grounds. Alternatively we can host your reception and party after getting hitched at the local church… you dream it we can do it because all persuasions, religions and beliefs are welcome at Sparkford A lazy reception lunch amidst autumn leaves in the grounds, perhaps a more formal sit down wedding breakfast in our barn (up to 100) or why not have a marquee erected (for up to 250). We just had the most enjoyable happy wedding
We just had the most enjoyable happy wedding weekend there....EVER! Perfection! Very grateful to the small number of staff that ensured the smooth running of an incredible day; you have the greatest respect from the family. Kyle worked like a trojan, even in the pouring rain, to ensure all went smoothly and most of the time on his own because of absent staff. Thank you, Kyle! If you like bohemian style, or 'shabby chic'; individual, relaxed ambience, wrapped up in a grand country Manor, surrounded by acres of fields with llamas, ponies and sheep, with total freedom to create your own package if you prefer, then this is the place for you. It's spotlessly clean, pretty well stocked (need more teatowels lol!), comfy beds and good sized, functional rooms. The cottage next door to the manor is ideal for people with mobility issues; no steps to 2 of 3 bedrooms and easy access without steps to the main house. The grounds are gorgeous and so peaceful. Thank you to all the team at Sparkford; you've had a difficult time because of the pandemic, but you deserve to get back on top again. Thanks for providing us an unforgettable, brilliant weekend 🙌 😀

Beautiful Sparkford Hall
We have just spent a wonderful three days (25 -27th October 2016) celebrating our wedding at the beautiful Sparkford Hall. Everything was fabulous and beyond. Our 38 guests who stayed for the entire duration adored the house and loved the accommodation. Our wedding day and evening guests were all wowed by Sparkford Hall. It is without doubt the best place to have a wedding or party of any type. The many people who organised this wonderful event for us are fabulous and we can't thank them enough.

I just want to say on behalf of Story, thank you ever so much for such a wonderful stay. The house worked perfectly for what we wanted to achieve and everyone felt like it was very special and the perfect space for us all to bond and have lots of learning and fun!
