The estate, up a long tree lined drive way, comprises of the Manor House (available by separate negotiation for events). The Wing of the Manor and the four cottages (three interconnecting) are available to hire as a whole for large groups or individually.
Sheldon Manor is licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies in many designated areas throughout the estate, including the 13th Century Porch (reputably the oldest in Britain) and the 15th Century Chapel is available for blessings and the exchange of rings.
The use of a beautiful handcrafted wedding pavilion with Elizabethan rose motif on the lining seats from 60-90 for a wedding breakfast or special event and is included in the venue fee (tariff on application).
Sheldon Manor is also ideal for parties, re-unions, special birthdays and anniversary events. Make your stay extra special by arranging catering and activities prior to your arrival - from one pot suppers and BBQs, to something a little more special; ritz style afternoon tea and croquet on the lawn, pool – side cocktails and canapés, or decadent three course affairs.
How about a vintage coach ride to the ancient nearby villages of Lacock and Castle Combe and relaxing afternoons being pampered by local beauticians who can come to the Manor.
Clay pigeon shooting and murder mystery evenings; here are just a few of the activities that can be arranged for your stay. Christenings and naming ceremonies can be performed in the Chapel or in designated areas throughout the estate.
