Riverlands is a wedding venue for people looking for something relaxed and authentic with the freedom to create a wedding, event or celebration that fits them. Set on our family farm in open countryside in a beautiful riverside location, Riverlands is the perfect, peaceful location in which to hold your special day. Surrounded by open fields and nature reserves, it is private and exclusive, but easy to get to. The venue has high end, luxury accommodation, sleeping up to 20 guests on site, with camping options for more and lots of places to stay nearby. The stunning views provide you with a wealth of unusual photo opportunities.

Get married in the licenced 18th century granary barn, enjoy drinks and games in the courtyard, field and secret garden, chill by the fire-pit on luxurious leather chesterfield sofas, and eat, drink and dance in the 18x9m mid century wooden party barn. All the facilities are exclusively yours for the duration of your event, to give you and your guests complete privacy.

The best day.The best day.
Where to start. Me and my now wife have just got married here at Riverlands and what can I say Kate, Ed and the team were incredible. From the first time we visited to look around to after we were married we couldn’t fault them. Any questions we had or needed help with anything Kate and Ed were always on hand to help out. Such great hosts who did anything they could to make sure we had the best day possible. From providing us easels on the day to breakfast the morning after we got married we just couldn’t have asked for anything more. In terms of the venue itself we really couldn’t fault it. It was perfect for us both. The venue is beautiful and calming. Very picturesque and you can tell that Kate and Ed look after it like it’s their pride and joy. All of the accommodation was great, the guests loved it and overall we just had the best day ever. Credit to the staff as well especially Kyler who ran the day so smoothly no task was big enough for her. Simply just a great venue with great people. A dream come true!A dream come true!
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! What a breathtaking venue! From start to finish Kate, Ed, Kayla & all the Riverlands team was outstanding!! It’s almost a week since our wedding at Riverlands and I’d do anything to go back and do it again. We would absolutely recommend Riverlands to anyone and everyone! They made our dreams literally come true! Thankyou Riverlands, from the new Mrs & Mr Mitchell XABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! What a breathtaking venue! Best Day Ever! Best Day Ever!
We are completely lost for words… Our wedding day at The Riverlands was absolutely amazing! It was better than either of us could have thought and it was thanks to the perfect venue. Ed, Kate and Kyler were excellent on the build up to the wedding, on the day and even made us sausage sarnies the day after. Nothing was too much, and the day ran perfectly (even on a very rainy Sunday in May) The venue was absolutely beautiful and perfect for the relaxed, fun and bright day we wanted. The surrounding area is stunning and the on site accommodation was perfect for my bridal party and family. We loved using the garden the night before too for a small get together. We got married at the Riverlands this year in July, and it was honestly perfect from start to finish! I like everything to be organised but also relaxed and the Riverlands team absolutely did just that. Nothing was too much to ask and every single guest commented how beautiful the venue was but also how relaxed the day went. It was also dog friendly which meant we couldn’t have our furry best friend with us on our special day. We couldn’t have asked for more. A huge thank you to Ed, Kate, Kyler and the Riverlands team, you’re all amazing at what you do! We got married at the Riverlands this year in July, and it was honestly perfect from start to finish! As soon as we visited Riverlands for the first time, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. A huge thank you to Kate, Ed and all of the team for making the day, and all the preparation, so smooth and relaxed. A beautiful venue for anyone looking for a rustic, authentic wedding. We also loved how flexible Riverlands was compared to other venues we viewed, and for helping us put together a wedding which was right for us (we had lots of bespoke ideas!). We couldn’t recommend Riverlands more highly to anyone, a lot of thought and care has gone into creating the venue, and the quality of everything was clear to see. Thanks again, Riverlands! Choosing your wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you have to make when planning a wedding and we knew from the second we stepped foot at Riverlands, there was nowhere else we wanted to have our day. The value for money is incredible, the staff are so accommodating and attentive, we couldn't have imaged a more perfect day. My husband (still not used to that!) and I stayed in the cottage the night before the wedding - untraditional but we wanted to soak up every moment TOGETHER - and we were welcomed with a lovely hand written note and bottle of prosecco, which we thoroughly enjoyed in the hot tub, whilst watching the sun set on our last night as fiancés. As for our wedding day itself, there literally are not enough words to describe how beautiful it was - from start to finish, the team at Riverlands made the day run smoothly and added nothing but joy to the whole day. Thank you Kate, Ed, Kyla and the rest of the team - we would do it again in a heartbeat. We had our wedding day here and it truly was the best day ever! From start to finish Kate and Ed made us, our friends and family feel so welcome, we felt so at home at the Riverlands the entire weekend. Nothing was too much trouble and the team really went above and beyond to help us create the most special day! Kyler the Venue Manager was absolutely incredible on the day, she’s like Wonder Woman, springing into action and making sure everything ran so smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about anything and could fully enjoy the day knowing she was on top of everything! Our guests were absolutely blown away by how stunning the venue was so many saying it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they had ever been to. We could go on and on about how truly special the wedding was.We had our wedding day here and it truly was the best day ever! From start to finish Kate and Ed made us, our friends and family feel so welcome, we felt so at home at the Riverlands the entire weekend. Riverlands is such a beautiful venue! We fell in love with it straight away!! Kate and Ed have such a chilled, laid back approach and were so helpful with everything through the planning process. Kyler was amazing at taking away the morning nerves and made sure everything was running how it should, we really appreciate all her help! We loved the chilled setting of then venue and the cosy outside area with the open fire for guests to gather round. The cottage was also a lovely place to stay both before and on your wedding night. Everything was perfect from start to finish! I wish we could do it all over again! Thank you so so much for everything! L&KRiverlands is such a beautiful venue! Best venue ever! We had our wedding at Riverlands Wedding Venue on 28.08.25 and it was simply the best day. The venue and accommodation are simply stunning, all our guests said how beautiful the venue was. They venue & accommodation are perfectly set up for the day to flow perfectly.
