Celebrate your special day amidst the rustic charm of Pitt Farm, an ideal venue for intimate weddings. While we primarily operate as a holiday cottage complex, we take pride in hosting select weddings, offering a unique blend of comfort and versatility.
At Pitt Farm, we understand the appeal of a marquee-style wedding, especially for couples expecting guests from afar. Our spacious grounds provide the perfect spot for your marquee, complete with convenient access to power and water facilities. You have the freedom to work with your chosen caterers and marquee company to create a setup that reflects your personal style. Parking is available for approximately 15 to 20 cars, though some vehicles may need to be carefully arranged.
In addition to our picturesque surroundings, we offer a range of on-site amenities to enhance your wedding experience. Take advantage of our indoor pool, games room, playroom, and tennis court, ensuring that you and your guests have plenty of entertainment options throughout your stay.
To make the most of your wedding celebration, we require a minimum reservation of three nights for the entire holiday cottage complex. During school holidays, a seven-night reservation (Friday to Friday) is necessary. This arrangement allows you to extend your celebration beyond the traditional afternoon and evening, creating lasting memories with your loved ones.
Pricing for your stay will vary depending on the time of year, and there will be an additional charge for utilizing the marquee field, power, and water facilities. If you prefer, we can handle accommodation bookings directly with your guests, allowing them to manage their own lodging expenses.
While our website provides a glimpse of our charming grounds and cozy cottages, we value personalized service and would be delighted to speak with you directly. By discussing your plans and requirements, we can ensure that Pitt Farm aligns seamlessly with your vision for an unforgettable wedding. While each

Find out a bit more from our FAQs
Describe the best wedding that happened at Pitt Farm?
Every wedding is special... you can't choose a favourite. Of course we like to think that the next one will be the best ever!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
A wedding is a party. Remember its fun - do think about the detail but don't let the detail rule your world.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
David and Victoria's his and hers thrones / Anthea and Grant's snowflake chocolate bars...were a close second and third, but perhaps the bride that loved baking and made her own cake (it looked amazing!)
Describe Pitt Farm in 5 adjectives
Scenic, Special, Surprising, Secluded all in lovely South Devon!
Where’s the best photo spot at Pitt Farm?
There are so many - up in the woodland which creates a lovely dappled light, by the ponds at sunset (it turns the water orange), in with the piglets / chickens / alpacas, on the stepping stones (dress dependent!), in the orchard in late summer or early spring...
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Pitt Farm?
We couldn't possibly comment.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Its a close one between sausage blinis (with local sausages of course), crab tacos (we are not far from some great crabbing spots).
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
You can't beat a Pitt Farm sausage baguette....
What is Pitt Farm most unique feature?
It's a really tranquil special place - the cottages mean that you and your guests share a mini break over the wedding weekend / week - they'll feel like they've been on holiday - we have an indoor pool, tennis, table football, a playground, animal feeding, a woodland and are no more than 15 mins from some world class beaches.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We feel an enormous sense of pride when families book to stay with us year after year. We regularly host birthday and family get togethers in multiple cottages. When people come back, we know we are doing something right.
