The Drawing Room is ideal for intimate ceremonies and drinks receptions. Meanwhile, The Tabor Room is light and spacious with idyllic views of the surrounding deer park. This area can accommodate up to 140 guests for a ceremony and 120 for a wedding breakfast. Equipped with a fully stocked bar and views of the terrace, The Terrace Bar is available for a drink’s reception. Absolutely fantastic experience
I would just like to thank you and the whole Parklands team for the absolutely fantastic experience we had this weekend. The whole day was ‘managed’ so well and all the staff were so incredibly friendly, it was commented on by many of the guests. As Jessica’s mum I felt any questions/ issues were dealt with straight away without fuss and a solution found for everything which is exactly what is required on a potentially stressful day - so thank you. Jess and Kev have left for their honeymoon this morning but I am sure will be contacting you after a couple of weeks of pure rest and recuperation:) So on behalf of all the family a heartfelt thank you for really making their day special and one everyone will remember. Only fantastic things to say...
Only fantastic things to say about this venue that was the setting for our special day. From the professionalism of the team, the organised support beforehand covering every detail, to the beauty of the venue on the day. The layout of the building works really well for larger parties of people, with multiple large rooms and a marquee, and the deer park setting is magical. Only minor consideration is due to the location, you will need to consider how your guests get back to their hotels if not using the onsite accommodation, limited taxi services in area, but this is a gripe with many wedding venues in a countryside setting. Thanks again to the team, you made for a magical wedding day, particularly Fiona who helped run everything on the day! Jonathan & Julia

By road We are located north of Bishop’s Stortford. If travelling on the A120, exit at the roundabout signposted B1383 Newport. Then take directions via Stansted Mountfitchet above. By train Newport is the nearest station to Parklands, Quendon Hall, about 2 miles away, from where a taxi will take about 5 minutes to reach the venue. The station is on the London (Liverpool Street) to Cambridge line. By air We are about 15 minutes from Stansted airport.
