When my close friend's original wedding reception venue fell through at the last minute, leaving her in the lurch, Novotel Ipswich stepped into the breach and helped her to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat! Within two hours of being asked if they could hold the wedding reception (at just three days' notice) they were able to be confirm everything, including agreeing the menus with the chef. No mean feat, especially given that there was a bank holiday in the interim. The reception was held in the Gainsborough Room, which was ideal and was easily able to accommodate the 100 or so wedding guests.
