Furniture included

Venue operates on a minimum spend basis, which includes private room or full venue hire. Staffing on the day + your own events coordinator to help you plan your special day perfectly and without a fuss. Min spend can be used towards food & drinks pre-order or as a bar tab on the day. All crockery (plates, cutlery, glasses, napkins) are included as well as all the furniture. Sound system & AV equipment is available at the venue over 2 floors for couples to use

Great experience overall!

Really enjoyed our lunch today! First visit here and won't be our last. Food was really good; especially the Steak Sandwich. My partner had the chicken burger and said it was pretty good. Service was good and was just a great experience overall. Special thanks to one of the managers, Michael who looked after our table!

Fantastic location!

Fantastic location! I'll definitely be returning. I'm surprised I haven't visited before. The atmosphere was lively and bustling, especially for a Friday night. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! I mainly ordered small appetizers; fries with Cumberland sausages, which were tasty.

Nice brunch spot in Richmond with a cute little outdoor courtyard. The staff were really friendly and good variety for food. I had the shakshuka which was nice, great eggs.

Great anniversary dinner

My partner booked a table for us to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. We were greeted by Michael and welcomed to a table. I can’t commend the staff and management enough. The staff were attentive from the moment we were seated, especially Kadie she served us all night and was absolutely amazing as was Michael. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I love a good bar and the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere really made all the difference for us. Thank you again Michael and Kadie.

Overall, I highly recommend

Came here recently with some work colleagues, there was around 20 of us. We were in the top event room with the dedicated bar. It was a fantastic evening, the staff were brilliant, and the food too. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much for them. The food all came out together, and all really nicely presented and tasty too. Overall, I highly recommend coming here as it really was such a lovely evening enjoyed by all.

No.1a Duke Street is a delightful spot! The ambiance is cozy and inviting with a great taste in design. The service was quick, and our orders arrived promptly. The Bloody Mary's were excellent. Overall, a lovely experience!
