Newtown House Hotel is an independent family run hotel who know the importance of celebratory events, as a team we go above and beyond to make sure your special day is as perfect as you hoped it would be. All of our packages are adaptable to accommodate your requests and make your wedding stand out from all others. We know trying to plan a wedding can be very overwhelming but our experienced team are here to support you every step of the way from the first meeting right through to the wedding day, they are able to offer advice and guidance to help your vision come to life.

Wedding of our dreams
I’ve tried to think of the right words to describe our wedding at the Newtown House Hotel this past weekend and honestly there isn’t one that quite fits minus to say it was what we’d dreamed of and more. From the first tour we felt welcomed in, every single staff member went above and beyond to make our day perfect including all the planning leading to the day. Vicky, honestly I can’t recommend a wedding coordinator more, all my questions and calls, she was always there to help and explain things, building the perfect wedding timeline and day! Each little detail I’d imagined was fulfilled and the day was just everything I’d wanted and hoped for! From the amazing meal which everyone couldn’t stop speaking about to the huge buffet which had people bursting at the seams! I’m honestly beyond grateful for everyone’s help and couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful venue to have our wedding at! Thank you for a truly magical and unforgettable weekend! The main wedding room is gorgeous and the enclosed outdoor space was perfect for afternoon drinks/ nibbles.
We were married here August 2023 and what a lovely little venue it is. The main wedding room is gorgeous and the enclosed outdoor space was perfect for afternoon drinks/ nibbles. We hired the whole place for our guests who stayed onsite. We would recommend the hotel. The bar area/ some of the rooms could do with a little updating but on the whole the venue is perfect for a reasonably priced wedding. The food was also great :) Special thank you to Vicky who made us feel at ease and coordinated everything fantastically.

Wonderful day. Everything went to plan. Lovely venue which everybody loved. Had lots of space inside and out. Nothing was too much trouble from the hotel. Very reasonable with the children as well - didnt charge us adult prices which was fantastic, and cooked them food children would want while adults had the traditional wedding meal

Everything on the day ran smoothly with no hiccups
Well! What a time we had! Where to start! Firstly, a big thank you to you and all the staff. We were looked after really well! All of our guests were happy and enjoyed their stay! Everything on the day ran smoothly with no hiccups. Food was great too so thank you chef! Someone very kindly drove Maisie and her goldie Bayley home as she couldn’t get a taxi, so thank you for that aswell. I will highly recommend Newtown House Hotel. We have some very happy memories from the few days we spent

We are food lovers so chose this venue due to going before, the price is amazing for the reception and includes a DJ. Such a beautiful venue with outside space too.

Best wedding venue especially for the price
We had our wedding here, and from start to end it was absolutely amazing. We had exclusive hire of the whole venue, our guests stayed here overnight, we had an amazing welcome reception with drinks and canopies, 3 course festive lunch and evening buffet. It was all tailored to our individual requirements. The staff are amazing and they make you feel so special. We all had breakfast together the next morning and booked the rooms out that night to make a long weekend of it.

Our wedding venue is exactly what we were looking for and the staff that come along with it make it even more perfect! The package in which we are given has everything we need so the stress is taken away for us. And our coordinators are very helpful when it comes to planning our wedding. I couldn’t be more happy with what I’ve found.
