National Trust - Stourhead Full Description
Congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to Stourhead. Inspired by the painted masterpieces of the past, Stourheads palladian mansion and landscape garden was lovingly crafted in the 1700’s and is described as a ‘living work of art’. We are licensed for ceremonies in the house and across all of our temples, each with its own unique charm and ambience. Specialising in small ceremonies, our dedicated team understand that you want your day to be personal to you. Post ceremony, we are offer a variety of reception locations from fields for marquee's seating up to 200 people to small intimate gatherings inside the Gothic Cottage and Temple of Flora for just 12 - 16 people. The village of Stourton next to the garden entrance also provides accommodation and reception options. We welcome weddings from April - September and book up to two years in advance. We are currently open for bookings in 2025 and 2026. Please contact us for a brochure and availability for wedding show rounds. By booking your wedding with Stourhead, you are helping us to look after this special place. We look forward to making your ceremony one you will cherish forever.
