Whether you’re planning a small civil ceremony or a full weekend celebration, the house and gardens are available for exclusive hire, ensuring complete privacy and a personal experience from beginning to end.
Our team works closely with every couple to tailor the details — from bespoke tasting menus and fine wine pairings to seasonal florals and coastal photography shoots. With just 13 rooms, the hotel becomes your home for the occasion — refined, warm, and entirely yours.
Not necessarily. We are happy to be involved as much or as little as you need.
If you would like to bring in your own planner, we will work alongside them. If you would prefer to leave the planning to us, we can take care of it. When the venue is hired exclusively, our wedding and events planner, Gemma, is closely involved throughout, guiding you through each stage and coordinating the details so that you can enjoy the process.
Gemma brings a wealth of experience to every wedding. Having spent over eight years as a wedding florist and has managed a number of venues, hosting many weddings; she has worked in virtually every area of the wedding day- ensuring you are in safe hands.
Yes, you are welcome to decorate the space and to bring in your own suppliers, whether florists, stylists or hire companies.
We ask that all suppliers contact the venue ahead of the day to agree timings for delivery and collection. Morston Hall is a four-star AA hotel and a Michelin-starred restaurant, operating every day of the year, so we will find times that suit your suppliers and allow the hotel to run smoothly for you and our other guests.
If you would prefer not to manage this yourself, we can put you in touch with our trusted suppliers and coordinate the timings on your behalf.
You are very welcome to host your wedding outdoors. We cannot control the weather, so we will talk this through with you beforehand and help you put a backup plan in place. This does need to be arranged in advance, and we would recommend a marquee, for which we are happy to suggest trusted suppliers.
We also encourage all couples to take out their own wedding insurance. The venue is covered, but it is always wise to protect your plans and investment.
Morston Hall sits on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, where the roads are peaceful and traffic is rarely a concern. Because it is a quieter part of the world, we recommend arranging transport in advance, particularly for taxis. We are happy to recommend popular local taxi firms.
We do not offer a concierge service, but there is ample parking for guests within the grounds, just a short walk from reception.
If you have booked the venue exclusively, you are welcome to book a DJ or live music for your wedding. Music can continue until a time agreed with us in advance. As Morston Hall is a working hotel with guests staying overnight, we will talk through your plans beforehand to make sure the evening runs smoothly.
Yes, we offer exclusive rates on midweek and winter weddings, held Sunday to Wednesday, throughout 2027. We are happy to talk through the options that suit your plans, but here is what we currently offer:
Please note that these offers cannot be combined.
Yes. Once you have booked your wedding with us, we would like to invite you to enjoy our signature seven-course dinner experience, complimentary, as our gift to you. We are also delighted to offer a discount on your stays when you return to celebrate anniversaries or special occasions.
We do not offer a bring-your-own service, as our wine list and drinks selection are among the finest around, and our team will be happy to help you choose the perfect pairing for your day.
If you have been given a special bottle that you would like to open with your guests, we can arrange this, and a small corkage fee would apply.
We welcome up to 50 guests for the wedding breakfast and for all meals throughout the day. We recently amended our capacity, as we feel this is the best number to ensure that every guest enjoys the very highest Michelin standards. We can also accommodate an additional 20 to 30 guests in the evening, so you can celebrate with a wider circle of family and friends once the day moves into the evening.
Once a date and a broad idea of your day have been agreed, we ask for a 10% deposit to secure your booking. The wedding must then be paid in full four weeks before the day, and you are welcome to set up a monthly payment plan to spread the cost.
