Definitely recommend!

I had my wedding here over the weekend and I honestly struggle to put into words how amazing everything was. The staff were amazing, everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for them. All my guests and family members mentioned that our wedding has been the best one they have attended and how beautiful everything was. The Moor Hall team should be extremely proud of themselves and me and my family will remember it for the rest of our lives.

The Best Weekend

I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who looked after us the whole weekend. It was absolutely faultless. The staff were all so friendly and no one could do enough for us, not just Friday but the whole weekend. Tom was incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. The Wedding We Dreamed Of

We would like to thank you for helping us plan our special day, it was our wedding we both dreamed of and more. We would also like to thank all the staff for making our day special, we've had so much positive feed back about absolutely everything.

I have never been to a more beautiful venue. I arrived the day before the wedding with the bridal party. As soon as I walked in just wow! My dream wedding venue. From the moment I walked in the door on the Saturday to the moment I left on Monday morning the staff were amazing. The ceremony room looked out of this world. The staff worked so hard to make this perfect. The wedding breakfast, was one of the best meals I have ever had. We had a beautiful beef, with the most dreamy mash potato, served with the fluffiest Yorkshire pudding. I was in love. Again the whole way through the breakfast we was asked several times if we would like any more drinks, extra portions of bread for the soup or anything else we would require.

Wedding review

My husband and I got married on the 30th April at Moor hall. The staff were pleasant, the rooms were big and tidy, Tom our toastmaster was excellent and we cannot fault the service. All our guests loved the wedding and the Hall. Couldn’t have wished to have had a better wedidng reception venue. All the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was of an impeccable standard, and we had a beautiful honeymoon suite. We will most definitely be going back to the hotel for anniversaries. With our wedding package we got to use the facilities and spa, which was a really kind touch and we enjoyed the use of the wonderful spa, pool and gym.

Wedding was just wonderful

We cannot fault this hotel...our son's wedding took place here on 30th June, and all the staff helped to make it a wonderful occasion....everyone was helpful, polite and friendly. The staff serving Canapes were so helpful and charming and always had a ready smile. We required an Assisted Room with a walk-in shower, on the ground floor and our needs were met in full. The room was comfortable as was the double bed. Everywhere was clean and fresh and had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant one-night stay. Breakfast......absolutely delicious!!! All freshly cooked and plenty of it! Coffee was plentiful and only had to ask for another pot to be brought to the table. The staff in the restaurant were happy and helpful, as all the staff of the hotel are. Thank you to everyone for making our stay very happy and comfortable....our son's wedding was just wonderful and the hotel could not have done any more.

perfect wedding day

As soon as we walked into the Charter Suite we fell in love with it and we said yes to each other straight away. Moor Hall just felt so warm and welcoming and the Charter Suite is very elegant. The beautiful grounds and gardens were a big deciding factor for us as we knew we’d get great photos there and we definitely did. We also wanted a venue that would be right for the whole day as we wanted to get married and hold the wedding reception and the evening party at the same venue and Moor Hall was the perfect size for our guests. When I saw the Charter Suite set up for a ceremony I could easily picture us there saying our vows, so we went ahead and booked it that same day. After booking we visited twice more for Wedding Fayres and every time we came the staff were so attentive and friendly that I became more and more sure that we had made the right choice.

Lucky in Love

We went to have a look at several venues for our wedding reception but when we walked in to Moor Hall we both had an instant feeling that this would be the perfect place for our special day. We loved everything about it and we were lucky as the Charter Suite was set up for a wedding that was taking place later that day so we could see exactly what the room would look like. We discovered that the Charter Suite is also a great venue for an evening party! 100% recommend! We really believe we could not have chosen a better venue for our special day. It was everything we could have wished for and more and it is a day that we will remember forever! We would recommend Moor Hall to any couple as they will be blown away just as we were, and they will create some wonderful memories that will last a lifetime

Everyone says their wedding day goes far too fast, so our piece of advice to our couples is to spend some quiet time together after the ceremony in our historic sunken garden. You can reflect on the day so far and have some stunning photos taken before heading back to the celebrations.

The Sunken Garden at Moor Hall is a woodland, fairy tale setting. The path to the Sunken Garden is lined with verbena and standard roses throughout the summer; and at the entrance stands a magnolia tree, which in springtime is in full bloom. Seasonal shrubbery borders and walls, built using stones from old local buildings, surround the Sunken Garden, along with woodlands with yew and hazel trees, making it a striking setting.
