Midelney Manor is quite literally the perfect wedding venue. Alice was pivotal in us being able to organise the wedding day of dreams. Her list of suppliers were of brilliant quality, whilst also offering a wide array of different options. The grounds of Midelney Manor also provide loads of flexibility for how you wish to have your day. We felt that Alice was truly invested in helping us deliver the day we wanted and she was ever present in the build up and on the day itself. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Midelney Manor to those looking for a beautiful, tranquil, marquee wedding in the countryside. Check out the Iglu too for your wedding night stay! We had our wedding reception at Midelney Manor in July 2023 and honestly we could not have chosen a better venue! Alice was a delight to deal with from our very first enquiry - helpful, responsive and gave great advice based on her extensive experience. We had a great experience with her recommended suppliers too. Her hard work on the day itself was beyond appreciated, she kept everything running as it should and took all pressure off us. Midelney Manor is absolutely stunning and our guests were so impressed. It was the perfect place to bring our dream day to life, and we felt so lucky that in choosing Midelney (and Alice!) we could have such a personal and bespoke wedding reception that really reflected 'us' as a couple. The onsite accommodation was a very useful benefit too. Could not recommend Midelney Manor more. Thank you Alice!

I honestly cannot recommend Alice and Midelney Manor enough, we had our wedding this weekend, and it was simply stunning (even if I am biased!) From the first time we reached out to Alice, to the day we left Midelney after the wedding, Alice was so attentive, and incredibly helpful! Having never planned a wedding, or any large event before, myself and my now husband were completely at a loss of where to begin, how much things would cost, how to find suppliers, right down to picking a time that the ceremony should begin! Alice gave us an extensive list of suppliers she recommends, along with always being contactable to answer any questions we had. I'd feel myself getting stressed about something, so speak to Alice, and almost immediately I'd be calm and have a plan set out, honestly she has made our planning enjoyable rather than full of stress! With regards to pricing, having looked at many other venues, the pricing is extremely fair! As not only do you get use of the venue, but Alice as an invaluable help! The venue has many different areas, so it really felt like a few venues rolled into one! The venue itself is so incredibly beautiful, with lots of stunning areas, and private nooks. We stayed onsite at their Iglu accommodation, while 3 couples of our bridal party stayed in Midelney West. This was so perfect, as it meant we had people close, but my husband and I could have our own space to escape to! We have had so many compliments from guests, raving about how beautiful the grounds are, but also how personalised the day felt. One of the many things we loved about Midelney Manor was that they dedicate a full weekend of your wedding, so there isn't such a mad rush to get things put up and taken down, making the weekend feel so special. The Potting Shed is an amazing space, everytime we were in there, we noticed something we hadn't seen before, from the vegetable competition certificates from the 1920s, to the beautiful portraits on the walls. It was a blessing to have an area that was cooler than outside for our elderly guests to sit, out of the sun! Thank you again to Alice and her whole family, for everything you've done for us this weekend, and for the past year! If you are thinking about visiting, all I can say is go, you will be swept up by Alice's passion and expertise!

Me and my husband couldn’t recommend Midelney manor any more if we tried. We had the most perfect day. Alice was super helpful, always on the end of the phone if we had any questions. The thing I loved is that the whole wedding was so personal for us, exactly how we had imagined. If we needed some advice on things Alice was around to help us in any way, and would point us in the right direction. There was also lots of space outside of the marquee for the children, they loved all the gardens!! Midelney west where I stayed the night before with my bridesmaids was a lovely place to get ready, lots of space, I felt so relaxed on the morning of the wedding. Absolutely perfect 🥰

We came to view Midelney manor on a cold February day and knew before even seeing the grounds that this was the wedding venue for us because of how wonderful the owner Alice was. But when we got outside it was even better; the grounds were spectacular, even on a grey and wet day. The day of our wedding exceeded all our expectations and our guests told us it was like walking through a dream being on the grounds of Midelney manor. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect wedding venue and would highly recommend it. The Iglu is also a great place to spend your wedding night and a few days after (firehouse in Langport and the Drayton crown great for a Friday/Sunday meal).
