Melbourne View Hotel

As soon as we visited Melbourne View Hotel, we knew it was the venue for us. The views are stunning, the hotel is gorgeous and beautifully decorated and the owners are simply wonderful. The owner, Trudy, was such a pleasure to deal with. She was always there for us whenever we had a question, worry or just needed a chat! It was so easy to plan with her and we felt safe and well looked after right from booking to when we left the day after our wedding. The standards here are second to none. Everywhere is immaculate, the staff are outstanding and the entire day flowed with ease. Any issues that arose were dealt with so swiftly by Trudy that I felt completely at ease and free to enjoy every minute of our day. One of the biggest benefits of this venue, for myself, was the beauty of it - inside and out. I didn't bother buying many decorations, only table centrepieces, as there was nothing about the hotel I would've wanted to change! It is already decorated so beautifully that it really doesn't need any more doing to it. Again, I need to highlight how wonderful Trudy and her staff are. We felt so at ease with everyone and even ended up wanting to join the staff in the celebrations because they were all so lovely! Everything here is done with great attention to detail and care. The breakfast the next day for guests staying over was such a beautiful day too. It was like a second celebration with our closest guests! And, my goodness, these guys make an incredible breakfast! I'm still thinking about it over a week later! This venue has so much to offer and really would suit anyone arranging any wedding, whether it be a small budget wedding to a grand day - it's so versatile, it can cover anything! Trudy and the team - we cannot thank you enough. Thank you for making our day one we will never forget!

We had our wedding reception here last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Trudy & Steve are amazing hosts and made sure everything ran smoothly leaving us absolutely nothing to stress about. The venue itself is breath taking, beautifully light and airy with fantastic views especially if you are lucky enough to have glorious weather like us. We had opted for the afternoon tea reception and it was stunning, I am very fond of afternoon teas and this has to be one of the best I’ve ever had! Rooms available for the guests were good and the breakfast the following morning was lovely, still set out in the wedding theme and a lovely opportunity to share some extra time with those guests who’d stayed over. Just want to do it all again, thanks is just not enough to cover how magical Trudy & Steve made our special day

I cannot fault the hotel. Excellent wedding venue. Lovely views and garden, nice rooms, smashing breakfast and wedding meal, good service. Lovely big bright airy room for wedding. Incredibly helpful and flexible - rearranged wedding twice due to covid restrictions.

My wife and I held our wedding at Melbourne view Hotel on 25/09/2021. The weather being warm and sunny the team at the hotel had set the seating for the ceremony up out side perfect. The main reception was perfect the afternoon tea we asked for was first class. The bar prices were not over the top. All the rooms where we and our guests stayed over night were spotless and the breakfast was great. Thanks to Trudy and Steve and staff our wedding went without any problems.

Thank you so much to Trudy & her wonderful team, we had an absolutely incredible day from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, all our many many questions and queries before the day were answered and sorted - Would highly recommend this venue, it is in a wonderful setting with beautiful views, the rooms were tastefully decorated and the food & accommodation were both fantastic, lovely touch having breakfast the morning after with the wedding party.
