Mayday retreats

Just returned from a wedding reception, what a great place on a nice summers day. The outlook is over the green green grass of Grimsby Town FC football pitch however the venue inside is super. We had a three course meal which was excellent, a choice of starters followed by roast turkey.The meal was nice and hot good size portions and plenty of veg. Following that we had sweet and coffee and mints. The staff were helpful and courteous and our waiter Adam was a credit to the establishment. Happy, friendly and polite. I would thing about 60 at the reception building up to about 100 for a super evening buffet. The room and tables were nicely decorated creating a pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend the venue which could easily accommodate up to 120.
