What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
There are so many! We had a wedding recently who had caricaturist transfer tattoos as their favours, there are so many little touches you can add, it is a very exciting time in the wedding industry!

With over 20 acres of private gardens, you will never be stuck for a beautiful photo opportunity.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes! We had Carol Smillie is an accredited humanist celebrant with the Humanist Society Scotland, conducting humanist, non-religious weddings.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Our personal favourite, and the one selected by most couples, is our Haggis bonbons - they are a must try!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Homemade sausage rolls, they are amazing!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Tower House which was built in the 1600s, we have managed to keep much of the history whilst putting a modern twist on some areas of the building.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Team Houstoun! We had a newlywed couple who described our tam perfectly recently - 'The team at Houstoun House are like a family, we felt welcomed in to that family as soon as we arrived.'
