Secret Garden Package (May - September). If you are looking for a smaller ceremony and reception for up to 30 guests, you can book the gardens from Monday through to Wednesday until 4:00pm. This is for non-exclusive use and includes a marquee on the lawn, garden games, garden furniture and full access to all buildings for photography, at a cost of £1,500.

Established in 1880 as a Victorian Pleasure Garden, The Larmer Tree is now home to a muster of peacocks and a pair of Macaws.
The garden is the perfect setting for a relaxed and informal, quintessential English Country Wedding. There is a choice of quirky licensed buildings for your Civil Ceremony and depending on guest numbers, from just 2 to 150, we have total flexibility to host your celebration all year round.
Menus can be discussed with our in-house caterers and designed to suit your taste and budget. From plated formal dining, to sharing platters or barbecues, you can tailor the style of food to the theme of your day.
Celebrate in the company of your family and friends with pimms, deck chairs and garden games in high summer; or with mulled cider, hot canapés and roast venison in deepest winter. Whatever the weather or season, you can dine in the elegant New Pavilion and dance until midnight in the comfort of the historic Jubilee Hall.
If you like the idea of a more intimate celebration, we can offer a Secret Garden Wedding. These are held midweek Monday to Wednesday, for a maximum of 30 guests. You are welcome to use any one of the buildings for your ceremony and we provide a marquee on the main lawn for your reception with garden furniture, garden games and deck chairs. Peacocks and free flying Macaws complete the magical atmosphere.
Each wedding has the services of one of our professional wedding co-ordinators, who will help you plan your perfect celebration and then ensure that your wedding day will be unforgettable.

A very special place!
Larmer Tree really is a very special and unique venue and we would very much recommend it both for a wedding and just as a place for our day out. The gardens are very large and varied so there's plenty of places for great photos and for guests to go and explore. All our guests loved the venue and had only positive things to say about the whole day.

Lucky to have our wedding here!
We were lucky enough to have our wedding here, in the glorious sunshine, surrounded by wild life and our loved ones. But what really made the experience so magical was the attentiveness, care and pride at which the larmer tree and all of their staff conduct themselves and their business. From the very first planning meeting until the last person left the dance floor, nothing was too much trouble, the food blew out guests away, and venue it's self was mesmerising in the summer sun. It is cliche to say, but it really was the best day of our lives, and that was made possible by all of you.

Best venue ever!
Best venue ever! This place is a never ending feast of colour, taste and sound. Alyson and I had our wedding reception here recently and it was perfect in every way.
We had the Moroccan feast for our wedding breakfast and all guests cleaned their plates - A testament to the chef's skills. All staff were professional to the last and a credit to the venue.
The resident peacocks made it all the more special (and we were lucky enough to see the Macaws). It was funny when they contradicted the best man mid speech!

Absolutely wonderful!
We recently got married here and everything was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Amy was our coordinator; she is so polite, calming and professional working seamlessly throughout the day to make our day run smoothly. The Larmer Tree gardens are beautiful in any season, our guests loved the peacocks and the catering from Forking Out was incredible. We would both love to do the day again in a heart beat and highly recommend this venue.

Wow, I have been trying to write the perfect words for this but it’s just been impossible. I cannot thank you and the forking out team enough for everything that you guys did on our wedding day. Everything was just so perfect and we’ve been wanting to do it again ever since. Perfect organising from beginning to end and the food was just incredible!!! Exceeded our expectations ❤️
