What do you get for your money? A dedicated wedding planner to work with you from the day of booking, to the day of your wedding. One of us will carry you through the process providing advice and guidance to keep you sane, it’s a joyful experience, not a stressful one. We will run the day so that you can relax and trust that we are on hand, from start to finish. Easels, boards and printing. Don’t go buying an easel that you’ll never need again. We have easels and boards, if you run out of time we can also print your running order, seating plan, table numbers and menu cards. It’s the place cards that are down to you. Oh we have table name holders too – chrome or wooden? Exclusive use? That means you have private hire and it will only be you and your guests on site, no-one else and do we have more than one wedding a day? NO WAY. Inside or Out? If doesn’t matter, we plan for the best and have a rehearsal a day or two beforehand. We have our beautiful Jubilee Hall for the ceremony if the weather lets you down (many prefer it) and our stunning Pavilion for dinner come rain or shine, it’s mostly glass and wonderfully light. We don’t like hidden extras. All prices quoted include VAT, include tables and chairs, linen tablecloths and napkins, all crockery and cutlery and the full complement of a water glass, red and white wines glasses at dinner. We also include smiling waiting staff. We Also Provide: 12m x 6m Chinese Hat Marquee for the reception on the main lawn, Garden Games, Deck Chairs, Umbrellas, Cake Table, Knife & Stand, Candles, Fire Pit and lots of twinkly fairy lights.

Secret garden weddings are designed for alfresco dining so we can offer a choice of food from afternoon tea to a barbecue. For a larger affair, drinks & canapes, 3 course sit down meal, including wine, a toast and supper all for around £110 per head.

Established in 1880 as a Victorian Pleasure Garden, The Larmer Tree is now home to a muster of peacocks and a pair of Macaws. The garden is the perfect setting for a relaxed and informal, quintessential English Country Wedding. There is a choice of quirky licensed buildings for your Civil Ceremony and depending on guest numbers, from just 2 to 150, we have total flexibility to host your celebration all year round. Menus can be discussed with our in-house caterers and designed to suit your taste and budget. From plated formal dining, to sharing platters or barbecues, you can tailor the style of food to the theme of your day. Celebrate in the company of your family and friends with pimms, deck chairs and garden games in high summer; or with mulled cider, hot canapés and roast venison in deepest winter. Whatever the weather or season, you can dine in the elegant New Pavilion and dance until midnight in the comfort of the historic Jubilee Hall. If you like the idea of a more intimate celebration, we can offer a Secret Garden Wedding. These are held midweek Monday to Wednesday, for a maximum of 30 guests. You are welcome to use any one of the buildings for your ceremony and we provide a marquee on the main lawn for your reception with garden furniture, garden games and deck chairs. Peacocks and free flying Macaws complete the magical atmosphere. Each wedding has the services of one of our professional wedding co-ordinators, who will help you plan your perfect celebration and then ensure that your wedding day will be unforgettable.

You are in safe hands!
We had a ‘secret garden’ wedding at The Larmer Tree Gardens and even though it rained before and during our ceremony all the necessary last minute changes went without a hitch. We had canapés, drinks and a BBQ outside on the lawn. The food was absolutely amazing and it is well worth attending the tasting evening that is offered. The team are very friendly and professional, Gail welcomed all our questions and put our minds at ease particularly running though the rehearsal! The Larmer Tree Gardens is a really well established venue with lots of experience hosting weddings. You’re in safe hands.

Best day ever!
Our wedding at Larmer Tree really was the best day ever. The gardens are stunning and it’s such a beautiful place to spend the day with family and friends. We had our ceremony in the Lower Indian Room with around 70 guests. It rained for about 10 minutes during our reception on the lawn but everyone was given large white umbrellas and the rain was hardly noticed. Gail helped us to plan our wedding from the beginning. We always knew what we needed to do by when with a very helpful check list and Gail was always so helpful in answering our questions and accommodating everything we wanted. She also recommended some brilliant suppliers, e.g. florist, ceilidh band and photographer which helped to make the planning as smooth and stress free as possible and it all came together perfectly on the day. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful venue (there was a lot of love for the peacocks), the lawn games and delicious food. I would not have changed one single thing. We had so much fun and I wish we could do it all over again.

Our absolute dream wedding venue!
Larmer Tree was our absolute dream wedding venue. It was the best day ever! We were super lucky with the weather and being able to marry in the stunning lower Indian room. The whole day ran so smoothly, a huge thanks to the amazing Katy for coordinating our day - she went above and beyond for us. Larmer tree gave us freedom to add all our personal touches and have the day just as we wanted it. Not being from the area, we also made use of the fab wedding fair that they host, met loads of incredible suppliers, I also learnt how to do calligraphy for our wedding stationary at their Dorset brocante event! I’d give a million stars if I could!
