Lains Barn

We had our wedding reception here and it was just magical. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were all amazing. The barn was set up and decorated to exactly how we expected it and looked out of this world. From booking back in 2021 to the day in August 2023 everything was done with ease, professionalism and kindness. I would redo our wedding day tomorrow and wouldn’t change a thing Thank you Lains Barn

The most beautiful experience of my life! I couldn’t have asked for a better venue and team! Everything was seamless, service was par excellence and so was the food. Martin, Rachel and Katy with the team were amazing at providing support and they have lovely suggestions when it comes to florists/ photographers/ harpist etc. anything you need this team will get it done ❤️ They were so understanding given all the uncertainties, we never were worried about the venue. Their terms are so clear and they take everything into consideration. A beautiful location and the barn looks spectacular! Definitely visit the barn ❤️

Where to begin? After looking at many venues and having a few options on the table, one viewing of Lains Barn was enough to knock all the other venues out of the running. Throughout the many months of planning, there are not enough kind things I could say about how helpful and hands on the owners and events staff were in supporting us plan our special day and accommodating any requests we had with no issues whatsoever. By the time the wedding day came, my husband and I felt so comfortable in knowing the team would ensure our wedding would go exactly according to plan, but we never could have predicted just how perfect everything would be. Everyone at Lains worked so tirelessly to give us the day of our dreams and I cannot count the amount of guests who have called or messaged to compliment on how stunning the venue was or how friendly and professional the staff were throughout. As the bride, I particularly appreciated how experienced the staff were with all the big and little things that can cause some stress during a wedding and how they were prepared for it all. I could go on and on with praises but from myself, my husband and all our guests, thank you Lains for the perfect wedding. Everything went right, better than I could have ever imagined, and I will never forget the care and attention everyone from Michael (owner) to Rachel (planner), Katy (on the day organiser) and all the staff-from catering to grounds and to the bar-put forward to give us the wedding of our dreams. Many, many thanks and much gratitude! 10/10 venue, would highly recommend.

We celebrated our daughter's wedding at Lains Barn. From the moment we viewed the venue we all felt it was THE place for the event. However, the team at Lains elevated it even higher because the service, care and quality matched the stunning surroundings, making it the most perfect day. Katy is an amazing manager and along with her very capable staff team, she made sure all we had to do was relax and enjoy whilst the day went without a hitch. The food was great and the bar gets a special mention for its prices which were not unreasonable (unlike those at some wedding venues)! I just can’t praise it all enough, and I know many of our guests were impressed. I think we all felt we were in the hands of a venue and staff team who really know their stuff. We are so happy we chose Lains Barn for our April 2022 wedding. They were really accommodating when we had to postpone in 2021 due to Covid-19, which was a huge relief. When it came to arrangements for our 2022 wedding, Katy and Carl met with us beforehand to discuss all our plans for the day in detail - we really got the feeling that both are very experienced and knew how to deal with all eventualities, which made us feel really calm about the day. The venue was presented beautifully on our wedding day - so many guests commented on what a stunning venue it was. Our guests with children also appreciated how contained the venue was, so the children were safe to run around on the lawn in view of parents in other parts of the venue. Katy and Carl were were a reassuring presence throughout - making sure everything ran smoothly - and the staff were really efficient and helpful, so we didn’t have any worries about managing the day itself. We can’t recommend this venue enough!

Beautiful barn in a stunning countryside location. We had an incredible wedding day, the food was superb and supported throughout by brilliant staff. Highly recommended, couldn’t find a single fault!!

Attended wedding on behalf of sweetheartnannies.co.uk to babysit the brides son, basically just to keep my eye on him throughout the evening. Lovely venue for a wedding, even with the light showers, it was still a great place for everyone to enjoy the day, lots of space under cover. Very tasty pizza from the pizza oven. 😋

Friendly and respectful staff members who attended to everyone, service was fast it's an amazing place to visit and have your wedding (my daughter got married here on Saturday)

Amazing experience from start to finish! we decided to have our wedding with you when we booked it 3 years ago, we have obviously gone through delays like most people and they have been so helpful moving us and looking after us. They made us feel really special and it was all worth it for the best day we have ever had. I can’t thank them all enough for being so helpful via email, phone call and in person. Martin/Rachel & Sarah - for arranging everything and being quick to come back with any suggestions or questions they/we may have. We have always felt at ease and despite a few other stresses always felt we trusted you from day one. Katy & Carl, we can’t thank them enough for how smoothly they ran everything on the day, they were so helpful in sorting out the best way to do the day and answer queries that we had, we could not have been happier with how the day went and anything we asked was never a bother. Everyone was so impressed with them and amazed at the whole day. We want to do it all over again of course :)

The dream wedding venue. The staff went above and beyond to help make our special day incredible. Can't speak highly enough of their team and the venue
