Stratton Court Barn

After really struggling to find a wedding venue we loved, it only took us 15 minutes to decide that we wanted to celebrate our wedding at Stratton Court Barn. It is the perfect size for a slightly more intimate wedding (55 day guests) but still has loads of space and different areas if you have more guests. The barn is absolutely gorgeous and the woods are so unique. From the beginning Karin was simply magical. She was there to answer any questions we had and guided us through the whole process. The open days were such fun & an amazing way to get excited for the big day. Our pre-wedding meeting was 2.5hrs long and we think that shows the attention to detail that Karin has. She gave guidance whenever needed and it always felt like she would do everything in her power to deliver the day that we hoped for. On the day, Karin and all of her team were on top of everything. You could tell that their experience helped everything to run smoothly, we felt in such safe hands. Karin even drove us over to the woods so our outfits didn't get ruined! It's nearly been a year since our wedding & we wish we could do it all over again! Where do we even start? This venue was beyond our wildest dreams. It had everything you need for a perfect wedding day, and our guests couldn’t believe its beauty. Karin is without a shadow of a doubt incredible, she answers every single little question, knowing the answer straight away. Her love for the venue makes you want to get married there and then, every open day is flawless and she has the nicest way with people. Jess was our wedding manager for our perfect day, and it wouldn’t have been perfect without her. Jess went above and beyond the entire day, she fluffed my dress, pinned my dress, set up our decorations better than I ever thought, seamlessly went from ceremony to wedding breakfast without even knowing she was doing it, played with my son, looked out for my son repeatedly (and made friends with him!!) and was my guardian angel all day. Nothing was too much for her, she guided me the whole day, made sure my guests were happy, the list is endless. I will forever be grateful for Jess, for making our day absolutely beautiful and special. I can’t rave them enough, if you are thinking of booking them, do it. The pair are absolutely amazing and they make the venue even more special. Thank you to you both, we had the most perfect day and it wouldn’t have been that way without either of you. Our wedding day at Stratton Court Barn was absolutely perfect in every way. From the initial planning stages to the actual day, everything went incredibly smoothly, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Karin, the event manager at the venue, was simply amazing. She was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the entire process, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Her expertise and attention to detail made us feel confident and at ease, knowing that our special day was in capable hands. The venue itself is truly beautiful. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its charm and elegance. Everywhere you looked, there was something stunning. One of the highlights for us was having our ceremony in the gorgeous woods. The soft, dappled sunlight created a magical atmosphere, and it was an incredibly picturesque setting. The barns at Stratton Court are equally impressive. They are thoughtfully designed and well laid out, providing the perfect space for a wedding celebration. We particularly loved the courtyard, which was ideal for our summer wedding. It added an extra touch of charm and allowed our guests to enjoy the beautiful weather and the firepit! On the day of our wedding, Karin truly went above and beyond. She ensured that everything ran seamlessly, taking care of every little detail so that my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Her dedication and professionalism were evident throughout the entire day, and we felt so relaxed and well taken care of. We were fortunate enough to stay in the cottage on the night of our wedding, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The accommodations were comfortable and luxurious, allowing us to enjoy the breathtaking views as we savored a peaceful morning coffee. It was the perfect way to start our new journey as a married couple. Overall, we can't recommend Stratton Court Barn enough. It exceeded our expectations in every aspect, and we would urge anyone looking for a wedding venue to choose Stratton Court Barn. From the stunning location to the outstanding service provided by Karin, everything was absolutely flawless. It truly was the wedding of our dreams.

We had the most amazing day at Stratton Court Barn! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the cost of hiring it doesn’t just include the space but the help and expertise of Karin who coordinates the weddings there. She and her colleagues were so great throughout the process of planning - especially so during the last 18 months when we had to reschedule many times due to Covid! It really shows that they know exactly what they are doing as the day was flawless. We chose the venue as it felt a little more intimate (we had 55 guests) but still had lots of different spaces including the bar area and court yard. The gardens too are so pretty with photos. We can’t thank the venue enough for what an amazing day they gave us!

We had our wedding in May 2021 at Stratton Court Barn and we had the most perfect day - and not just because the venue is beautiful and the sun was shining! The wedding coordinator Karin was endlessly helpful on the run-up to the day and she and her team made the venue look exactly how we'd hoped and had the day running seamlessly. Karin kept us up-to-date with what the latest COVID guidance meant for our day and no query was too small. She's also a great person to have there on the day, not just because of how expertly she organises and runs the day but because she's great fun. We could not have asked for more from Karin and her team at Stratton Court Barn! This was the first venue we visited and we drove away having that gut feeling that this was the perfect place for our wedding. Everything from our initial visits, consistently helpful and supportive email exchanges, to the run up of the final few weeks confirmed for us that we made the right choice. Karin was unfailingly helpful, cheerful and encouraging, and has an amazing knowledge of a brilliant range of local suppliers. Planning a wedding and the lead up to the day can be stressful, but everything was made so much easier as we had complete faith in Karin and the day itself flowed perfectly. The venue itself is the perfect balance of relaxed and beautiful, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. It worked so well to have our 60 guests gather together in this warm, bright and welcoming setting. We had the most perfect day and would thoroughly recommend Stratton Court to any couple for their special day!

From the day we looked around the venue, leading up to, and on the wedding day itself, Karin was fully committed to making our day as special as possible. Very attentive to answering any questions we had, and offering advice where needed, Karin's organisation skills and thoroughness ensured nothing was missed! If we could score Karin more than 5 for everything we would! Karin is so flexible and friendly and really cares about your wedding; even though she organises 100s of weddings. Nothing is too much trouble for her to organise. She makes everything so stress free. The venue is simply stunning and Karin has really helped to transform the venue into a beautiful boutique style barn. I'd get married a million times if it meant I could forever use this venue! Karin made the planning of our wedding stress and worry free. Karin communicated with us throughout the whole process letting us know what and when we needed to organise and make decisions by. She liaised with outside suppliers brilliantly so that on the day she was in complete control and the wedding ran seamlessly and without any problems. Karin always replied quickly to emails and phone calls, giving us great advice and recommendations. She offers a really personal, friendly service.
