We appreciate that each and every wedding is unique and we do not host more than one wedding a day.

The best day of our lives
From start to finish we loved our wedding day and couldn’t think of a better place to have chosen! The food was amazing, the staff were professional and polite and were happy to help with anything we asked. Our wedding coordinator Rhian was amazing and we couldn’t thank her enough for how much she did for us and how smooth and amazing the day went. We couldn’t recommend enough as it was the bestest day of our lives and genuinely wouldn’t change a thing!!

The most perfect day at the most perfect venue!
I could not recommend the King Arthur for your future wedding venue more!! Beyond the fact that it is the most stunning, cosy country pub with the absolutely incredible, rustic Avalon function room attached at the back, it is nestled in the heart of the breathtaking Gower AONB so you have the most wonderful views in every direction. The venue gardens are immaculately kept and are so ethereal and pretty with many amazing photo opportunities. The food was exquisite and the rooms and cottages are beautifully decorated and comfortable so you will be guaranteed a great nights sleep! The venue truly speaks for itself, but what set this venue apart for us is the staff and service we recieved, from the first day we enquired for a viewing to the day after our wedding. We had Rhian as our wedding coordinator who was organised, efficient and so accomodating with our ideas/requests, making the planning of it completely stress-free. Nothing was too much trouble, and she took care of us as if we were the only wedding taking place there all year, it was the small details that truly meant the most to us! Thank you for everything King Arthur Hotel, we had the most wonderful experience getting married here and all our guests had such an incredible day and we encourage anyone to look into this amazing venue for your weddings!

We certainly couldn't single one out, there have been too many to mention! Each wedding is totally unique, we love seeing all the new trends which come and go over the years.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
You will know when you have found the one, the venue that is, because you will feel completely at ease there and confident that they will deliver your dream wedding! If you can see your friends and families enjoying drinks in the gardens or dancing the night away, then that is the venue for you.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A video message from Craig David was pretty cool! It was shown to the Bride on our big projector screen at the end of the speeches. The groom knew how much she loved him so got in touch with him and he kindly sent over a personal message for her- to say it made her day was an understatement!

Photos nestled under the willow tree at night are so magical! The fairy lights trailing in the willow creates the most magical photos.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at King Arthur Hotel?
We've had quite a few over the years. Joanna Page from Gavin and Stacey was a wedding guest a few years back - she was really lovely.
What’s your favourite canapé?
We love the arancini balls. Full of flavour, vegetarian so a good all-rounder and something a little different to the norm.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It has to be good old bacon rolls with lots of tomato sauce!
What is King Arthur Hotel most unique feature?
Probably the Flower meadow. So romantic and peaceful- it changes with the season and is perfect for your couple wedding shots after the daytime reception. a very unique feature. Outdoor ceremonies are planned for the meadow from April 2024!
