Your dedicated Events Manager Leila Heppell will plan the day with you from start to finish, with her there on the day to ensure the smooth running of the event. The team at Tresanton draw upon years of experience within the industry, creating your perfect wedding day, including every small detail. The hotel has two licensed ceremony rooms, two terraces with sea views to enjoy champagne and canapes and a stunning restaurant which overlooks St Antony's lighthouse. Out of our 30 rooms and suites, 28 boast a sea view and all of them feature antiques collected from all over the world. Tresanton is excited to announce that for the first time in our twenty year history we are accepting bookings to get married outside on our sea view Beach Club. We offer weddings and celebrations for just the Bride and Groom, who are looking for an intimate celebration on their own, to weddings for up to 70 guests, where you take over the whole hotel. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

The perfect wedding at Hotel Tresanton is an exclusive use wedding. The best one by far was an exclusive use wedding in early October, where the ceremony was held at the local church of St Just. Guests arrived the night before for a welcome dinner, with all of the couples 70 guests staying at the hotel. On the wedding day itself, guests enjoyed a relaxed breakfast, before getting ready for the ceremony at the local waterside church. Travelling by a classic London bus to the ceremony was a great start to the celebrations and once guests arrived back to the hotel, champagne and canapes were enjoyed on the hotel's sea view terrace, in the winter sunshine with a great jazz band playing in the background. A three course dinner was served in the restaurant, with a seasonal main course of Cornish beef served. Once the speeches, toast and cake cutting had taken place, guests moved through to the function room for a night of fun and dancing! To complete the guests weekend away, breakfast the day after the wedding was held for all, to reminisce of the previous days memories made!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

I've had it said to me before, if you find the right venue with the right planner/ coordinator, your day will be perfect. Having someone on hand to plan all of the details with you and share their wealth of experience with you, will elevate any stress in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Having your guests all choose their favourite song in advance, adds a great fun element when they hear it played later on that evening on the dance floor!

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Luxurious Understated elegance Coastal chic Small and intimate Stunning

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

On the terrace with the bay and St Antony's lighthouse in the distance

What’s your favourite canapé?

Cornish crab - It's local, classic, simple and stunning - everything Tresanton is.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

A Cornish pasty

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The interior of the hotel has been designed by Olga Polizzi, the hotel's well-known owner. Her expertise have given the hotel an informal but luxurious touch, which makes you feel like you are in someone's home, not a hotel.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our reputation, it speaks for itself.
