Hotel du Vin, Tunbridge Wells

Thank you Sophia for the wonderful celebration you organised in the elegant Lombard Room for our daughter's wedding on the 17th June. We were very impressed by the professional and attentive service which you and your staff provided. The food and drink were delicious, the room was laid out beautifully and the staff looking after us were impeccably efficient. We had a wonderful evening! We would also like to mention Lauren and Tiffany, who were also very helpful and supportive throughout the day. We would like to commend Lauren in sorting out a problem we encountered the next morning at breakfast.

We had our wedding at the Hotel du Vin, and from the moment we made our decision, we were extremely supported throughout the wedding process. Sophia made sure that every little detail was taken care of throughout the build-up, which meant that we could relax on our special day. We stayed in the bridal suite which was incredible, there was plenty of space and beautiful views. The food during the wedding was amazing and the portions were large - we had lots of compliments from guests. The grounds are really beautiful which made for lovely photos. Throughout the day, all the staff were incredibly helpful and made every effort to ensure guests' comfort. One staff member overhead a guest mention that she was worried about having a bad reaction to the cream in mashed potato - the staff member (apologies, didn't get a name) quickly arranged an alternative main and dessert at short notice. Lauren also was extremely attentive to us and our guests during the day. Overall we had the most beautiful day and would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married.

We held our wedding here; ceremony, dinner and evening reception, plus stayed overnight for two nights. I cannot fault the service we received. Sophia the event manager was amazing, very unflappable and everything ran like clockwork leaving us both very calm and able to enjoy the day. The wedding breakfast food was very tasty and plentiful. The reception staff were very kind and accommodating, in fact the whole HDV team were brilliant. I would not hesitate to recommend holding your wedding or any event here.

We held our wedding at HDV in May. Sophia the Events manager was great, always in touch and nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding party included children, teenagers, a baby and adults some with dietary requirements but all needs and tastes were met and the food was excellent. The staff and the service on the day were all great. Someone even managed to find a lost hearing aid in the lawn! The venue itself is beautiful - a great back drop for photos and the room where we had the ceremony and wedding breakfast looked lovely just decked out with some simple flowers. We were lucky to have the sun to enjoy the garden too. I would highly recommend thinking about holding your wedding or another large event here, we had a really perfect day.

I got married at Hotel Du Vin a few days ago, the service we received was flawless. The weather was hit and miss, and thankfully the team pulled out all the stops to make sure we could still have the wedding of our dreams, allocating us another function room which was available for the drinks reception while they set up the main function room for our wedding breakfast. Everyone commented on how stunning the venue was and the team were superb. A special mention to Gideon, Serhii, Frankie, Louis, Eryn and Sophia. We genuinely had the best day ever!

3 months ago What an experience! We had our wedding in the beautiful Havana Room at Hotel du Vin, Tunbridge, and it was absolutely gorgeous! We had the best weekend imaginable. Our party of 19 found the Havana Room to be the perfect size—intimate, yet spacious enough to feel grand, especially with the stunning decorations by Chic Weddings. We and our guests all stayed at the hotel, and every room was lovely—well-decorated, clean, and spacious. The staff went above and beyond to assist our brother-in-law and sister, helping them move to a quieter room for their newborn, which we greatly appreciated. The morning after, we all enjoyed a delicious breakfast together. The food throughout our stay was fantastic, and the wedding dinner was phenomenal—especially the Beef Bourguignon! Lauren was an absolute star on the day of the wedding and the morning after—it felt like she was there every step of the way, ensuring everything went smoothly. She was incredibly kind and accommodating to all our guests. Sophia was also by our side on the big day, making sure everything ran according to plan with such care and warmth. In the lead-up to the wedding, Tiffany was so helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had. The front desk team—Hollie, Sam, and Pippa—were wonderful, handling all our inquiries with patience and ensuring everything went off without a hitch. Gideon and Marlon were amazing at the bar, perfectly serving our guests with every drink they desired. They were polite, friendly, and an absolute joy to chat with! Frankie was also incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Looking back, we wouldn’t change a thing. Our wedding was perfect, and the team at Hotel du Vin played a crucial role in making it all come together. We highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding, big or small. If you need more space, the Lombard Room is also grand, and the gardens are simply lovely!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here on 31st August. It was a magical day, and Sophia, Lauren, Patrycja, Frankie, Louis and Gideon, were absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived the day before, Sophia’s and the team’s calming presence helped to reduce pre-wedding day stress, and ensured that everything I needed was taken care of. On the day itself, the team outdid themselves. The service was wonderful, and the team all had such a positive and welcoming attitude. They looked after us, and our guests extremely well, and we received so many compliments about the team from our guests. From the ceremony, to the drinks reception , to the wedding breakfast, and the evening reception the service was warm, friendly, slick and absolutely seamless. We can’t thank Sophia, Lauren, Patrycja, Frankie, Louis and Gideon enough!

We had our Wedding here on Saturday and from my very first enquiry, Sophia the events manager was very efficient at getting back to me and was always at the end of the phone or an email to help us plan our day. On the day Sophia and the rest of the staff worked well with our suppliers to ensure the day ran smoothly. We had a perfect day, the food was outstanding and we had so many compliments about the food. The gardens are beautifully kept and the whole hotel is very clean and has a lovely atmosphere. The large windows, beautiful staircase and mirrored room made the hotel feel very grand even though it is a fairly small hotel. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay somewhere with a lovely atmosphere and amazing food and I would recommend Sophia to help you plan any event you may wish to hold at the hotel. We had our wedding at Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells in January. It is a beautiful venue we were able to arrange exactly the day we wanted. Sophia was really helpful in the run up to the big day and dealt patiently with all of our questions about the details. She and the team made sure everything ran super-smoothly on the day. The food was really good and the portion sizes really generous, which lots of our guests commented on. We and our guests all had a great time. Also, a bit of a side note
