A conversion of four Georgian townhouses overlooking The Stray, a magnificent 200-acre common, Hotel du Vin is the perfect back backdrop to your big day with elegant decor and charming surroundings.
Guests can stay in on of 48 timelessly-styled bedrooms and spacious suites while the happy couple can spend the evening on our Signature Suite complete with Emperor Bed and double free-standing roll top baths.

- GGaynor & Ian21/10/2026A Quiet DoA Quiet Dootel du Vin, particularly Charlotte Hudson, listened to our preferences and met them admirably. The room was a perfect size for our small party. We were able to taste the menu beforehand which not only helped us choose but advise our guests. The menu had enough choice and was reasonably priced. Waiting staff were attentive and professional. All our guests said what a lovely room it was, and the ambience definitely provided a good setting for our day. Several of our guests stayed at the Hotel andotel du Vin, particularly Charlotte Hudson, listened to our preferences and met them admirably. The room was a perfect size for our small party. ( up to 40) It is very stylish and we also had use of the back of the attractive bar and the terrace. Sim, the Event Organiser listened to our needs and made suggestions. Everything we agreed to took place. She dealt effectively with any follow up questions we had. The food, with individual choices from 3 courses was very tasty and all served beautifully to the correct recipient. We were looking for somewhere to have an elegant but paired back reception for fewer than 40 guests. Sim happily talked us through our options and listened to our needs. She was happy to keep the plan flexible until nearer the date (thanks Sim!). We went with their out of the box service. We didn't add much and the end result was just delightful. They presented the space wonderfully and their staff were very attentive. They set up the bits and We had a wonderful experience from start to finish.
